Chapter 11

*A few hours later*
*Jungwon's POV*
"Jay,Jungwon."Someone called,snapping us out of our thoughts.
It was Heeseung hyung.
"What's up with you guys? Both of you have been spacing out for 9 minutes."He asked.
"Both of you beat Sunghoon's record of daydreaming."Jake joked.
"Hey."Sunghoon said in an offended tone.
"Hahahaha,sorry hoonie."Jake apologized to his boyfriend who was sulking.
"You're lucky you're my boyfriend."Sunghoon said then put his arm around Jake's shoulder.
"Anyways,back to topic."Heeseung hyung sternly said.
"Why are you two like this?"He asked us.
"We are just thinking about something."I answered.
"What are you thinking about?"He asked.
"Ummm..."I looked at Jay.
He was also looking at me with an expression that screams,"What do we say?".
I just sighed.
"Remember Ni-ki's little story that he told us?"I started.
"Which one?"All of them said in unison.
"You know,the one about his childhood lover."I said.
"Oh,that one. What does it have to do with you two daydreaming?"Jake hyung asked.
"Well,let's just say we know who it is."Jay responded.
All of them were jungshook(HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I HAD TO😂 -Author),including Ni-ki himself.
"You two know who it is?"Heeseung hyung asked in disbelief.
"Mhm."I replied.
"How?"Sunghoon hyung asked.
"We had our suspicions,and then we confronted the person and found out that it is him."I replied,not noticing I revealed that it was a him in the process.
"Him!?"Sunoo hyung screamed.
Jay visibly face-palmed while I remained silent with wide eyes.
The others just turned to Ni-ki for an explaination.
Ni-ki looked as dumbfounded as the others were.
He also didn't expect it would be a male.
"Yes,it is a him."I replied then exhaled.
"Who is it?"Sunoo asked in curiosity.
"We can't tell you,he told us not to tell anyone about it."Jay said in response.
"You can tell me,I won't tell anybody else."Heeseung hyung promised.
Jay and I just looked at each other then nodded.
"Alright."I said then proceeded to drag him to the kitchen and then I told him to whisper so the others won't hear.
"So who is it?"He asked.
"It's.....Y/N."I answered.
His eyes widened in shock.
"Really???"He asked.
"Yeah."I replied.
"How did you find out?"Heeseung hyung asked more.
"We confronted him earlier  at lunch time."I told him.
"Oh,that makes sense."He said in wonder.
We returned to where the others were.
Jay kept an eye on them if they would try to eavesdrop on our conversation.
The others were devastated that their curiosity wasn't fed.
Heeseung hyung was trying his best to not laugh but you can still hear silent chuckles coming from him.
The rest of the night passed by quickly with the others begging and trying to bribe Heeseung hyung to tell them who it was.

*A few hours earlier*
*Y/N's POV*
"Yes,I am Ni-ki's childhood lover."I answered.
"But...please don't tell Ni-ki about who I really am."I said.
Both of them looked confused and puzzled,confuzzled.
"Why?"Jay asked.
"He seems happy with that girl...what was her name again?"I questioned myself.
"Hye Soo?"Jungwon replied.
"Yeah,her."I told him.
"But Y/N,they didn't work out and just decided to be friends."Jungwon informed me.
I was shocked to say the least.
"Why didn't they work out?"I asked.
"We don't know,they probably just didn't like each other in that way,I guess."Jay responded.
I just nodded.
"But still,please don't tell him."I said then quickly got up and left,leaving no space for the two to try and persuade me in allowing them to tell Ni-ki.
I hurriedly made my way to the nearest restroom and splashed water on my face.
'So they didn't work out,huh?'I thought.
I grabbed a paper towel and dried my face.
After patting my face with a paper towel for too many times,I made my way to the cafeteria where I met up with the others and I told them about the interrogation or should I say,confrontation.
They just responded with nods.
We ate and the rest of the day quickly passed and ended.

*Back to the present time*
*Ni-ki's POV*
⏰🌃[10:17]
I twisted and turned in my bed but I just couldn't sleep no matter how much I try.
I just can't stop thinking about that person or him,I guess.
My thoughts are being plagued by questions like,"Who are you?","Do you still remember me?","Where are you?",etc.
Its physically and mentally exhausting to think about this.
I tried my best to forget about him because I didn't think they'd come back but it seems that they're back and they didn't even try to contact me.
'Why would he tell Jungwon and Jay hyung but not me? 'I thought in jealousy.
'Why didn't he even try to contact me?'I thought.
'Has he forgotten about me? But he told Jungwon and Jay hyung so he must still remember me.'I continued to spiral in my thoughts.
'Did he date anyone else while he was gone?'
'Did he break our promise?'
'Does he love someone else already?'
'Will we even meet again?'(You already have -Author)
'Can we fix what we had?'
'Will we work out?'
I thought of so many things but only one question kept coming back to my head.
I tried to clear my head and it seemed to work.
Eventually,I was able to sleep peacefully without interuption.
The question that lingers was,
'Why were you gone for 3 years?'

It's me your ever so amazing author back at it again with another chapter.
This was the shortest chapter I've wrote so far.
I can't really say too much in this author's note but the angst is coming to an end soon and development between Y/N and Ni-ki will finally happen.
