I woke up excited as ever I finally get to move back to live with my mom and brother am so excited.After took a warm shower and wore my black Nike tech fleece with my white and black Jordan's I put my earrings on and my necklace on i took some snaps then went downstairs to wait for my auntie to take me to the airport while I wait lemme give you a back story
When I was younger my brother was kinda a really bad kid so he was in and out of jail and my dad was never really there for us and left when I was three which hurt but I accepted it and since he wasn't here for us I guess that turned my brother into the streets even more and at the age of 12 my older cousin who I loved and was really close with was shot and killed which turned into a whole gang rivalry my mom didn't want me or my brother getting involved or anything so she tried moving me and my brother to Atlanta but my brother couldn't exactly leave since he had to many petty charges against him so she sent me to Atlanta to stay wit my Aunty which is her sister and she told me when I finish with school I could come back down to Chicago which made me upset at first so I didn't talk to my mom for two days till my brother came to my room the night before I left and told me that it was the only way for her to keep me safe especially from all the violence that's been happening since the death of my cousin and he promised that they would come every holiday or I could come every holiday and that made me happy I apologise to my mom and we agreed that I could come for every holiday after two years of being there my Aunty sat me down one night and told me that I couldn't see my brother that year since he got locked up for a gun charge and accessory to robbery so he was locked up for 10 months so that really upset me but he was out on two years of probation so he couldn't fly out to see me and neither could I since I had a lot of tests and school work but we called every day before I went to bed.
And now I finally finished school and graduated so now I get to go back home it was currently 4 AM in the morning and I was on my way to the airport since my flight is at 7:00 I came early so I had enough time for everything "durk have you called yo momma you on yo way" I smiled and nodded we pulled up to the airport and it was now 5:10 so I was I have just about enough time we got out the car and she helped me take my bags in then it came to the security so she couldn't come with me "thank you for everything TT especially for always being there for me when mom couldn't I love you" we hugged and stayed like that "I love you too durk you is always gon be my favourite but don't tell D I said that ok and if you ever need anything you got my number just call me ok" I nodded and pulled away from the hug she kissed my forehead and smiled softly

I finally landed in Chicago and it was cold as fuck I got a text from my moM saying she was here already I got all my bags and went to the pick up area and she was standing there smiling waiting for me she instantly came up to me hugging me "my baby is back I missed you soo much baby" I laughed and we was just swaying side to side hugging "I missed you to mom"
she pulled away looking at me smiling "I missed you so much and I hate that you've grown on me" I laugh "am still your baby you ain't gotta worry bout that where's D why didn't he come" she smiled even more "he doesn't even know you is here so he's probably still sleeping at home" I smiled "I thought you told him" she shakes her head and grabbed my bags
"let's go have you eaten you wanna get food" I shake my head "I had McDonald's" she rolls her eyes and laugh "I swear she always spoiling you" I laughed and sat down in the car she got in and we started driving "soo have you spoken to yo father" two years ago my dad texted me but I lost all respect amd everything for him when I found out he had a whole other family so I didn't really talk to him but cause my mom really wanted me to at least rebuild a connection with my father I tried it just for her but he kept trying to get me to live with him and his family so I stopped calling and texting him I shake my head "no he's been calling but I ain't answer then he just threatened me" she sighs and looks at me "am sorry baby" I shrug "it ain't yo fault he just a manipulative bitch ass who thinks they can fuck other bitches and have a family wit them and force his child to come sit there like shit fine and normal" she hit my chest "oww what it's true you know it yo self mom" she kissed her teeth "I know but don't be cussing ight" i laughed and nodded
