Chapter 07: Going Home

*Narrator's POV*

Lady Miaka was trapped inside a mirror by Taiitsukun, the controller of this world.

Tamahome and Hotohori were threatened by her evil imposter, and in order to save them, the lady Miaka decided to take her own life.

In return, deeply concerned that she might die, Hotohori, Tamahome, and the lady Tsubasa, all spilled their own blood.

And then finally, before them...

"In honour of the great loyalty between you in these first three of your warriors, as well as the great loyalty and trust between you and the Celestial Guardian, I shall tell you how you can now return to your own world with Tsubasa, who will not be returning to the world in which she was raised in, but to the world that she, and her eldest sister, Nozomi, was brought to by Suzaku himself, which is with you, Priestess of Suzaku."

Taiitsukun appeared.

*Tsubasa's POV*

Taiitsukun floated towards us and stopped when she was close enough for all of us to see her.

Everyone had a mix of reactions; I grinned, Nuriko and Tamahome looked weirded out by her appearance, Miaka tried not to laugh, and poor Hotohori looked horrified.

Miaka pointed at Taiitsukun and laughed loudly. "Hey, look, it's King Tut's grandmommy-"

"Do you want me to reopen your wound?" Taiitsukun interrupted Miaka's funny, but rude remark about her. "Who do you think you're calling 'King Tut's grandmommy'?" I snorted, but stopped myself when Taiitsukun glanced at me.

Nuriko shoved me out of the way and gave Taiitsukun a forced closed-eye smile. He looked as if he wanted to blurt out a comment just like Miaka did, but held back instead. "Hi there!"

Taiitsukun glanced at him, looking very impatient. "Yeah? What is it?"

"Are you...Taiitsukun?..." Nuriko sounded very doubtful, which was absolutely hilarious to see.

"Yes I am."

He blinked a few times in surprise. "Uh-huh...really?"

"I am." Taiitsukun confirmed. "I am indeed, the controller of this universe. Your guardian can confirm that herself, won't you, Tsubasa?"

I smiled and nodded. "Yep, it's entirely true. So, you guys better straighten up and give this woman the utmost respect."

Taiitsukun turned her head to the right and raised an eyebrow at Hotohori's behaviour. He had his back facing her, and a hand covering his mouth as if he's about to puke. "Hotohori? What are you doing?"

Ah, I remember this part clearly. It was one of the most funniest scenes in the episode!

I haven't got a pillow to laugh loudly into, so I'm gonna use Nuriko's back instead. I could never contain my laughter when I watched this episode over and over again, especially this particular scene.

"I can't stand..." Hotohori sounded like he was literally going to puke there and then. "...the sight of anything that...is so ugly."

That was the queue for me to laugh my butt off, which is exactly what I did without caring whether or not the others were looking at me.
