Wilbur POV

Everything was most definitely not okay.

Especially considering how, the night before we left to fight the Dream Team, we were all lying around the house, doing absolutely nothing to prepare. Sure, I was thinking about it, but every time I tried to get up... I just couldn't. I blame (Y/n) and her really good cooking. I was full and warm and ready to take a nap.

In fact, just as I was about to doze off, a sudden knock rang through the house, and (Y/n) groaned as she stood up to answer the door. From the couch I was sprawled across, there was a wall obscuring my view to the door. I was about to tell one of the boys to look, but then I noticed they were both fast asleep.

(Y/n)'s voice grew louder, but not quite loud enough for me to hear. I caught gists of a hushed yet heated argument, which went on for a concerningly long time. Eventually, (Y/n) shut the door rather hard and sunk back down into her chair.

"Who was that?" I mumbled, still half-asleep.

(Y/n) seemed startled to find me awake. "Sorry," she whispered back. "I didn't mean to wake you."

"It's okay," I yawned. "Who was that?"

"Just some delivery boy," (Y/n) said with a shrug.

Too tired to question it, I nodded and sank back into the cushions. But then, another knock came from the front door, and I watched (Y/n)'s face flood with irritation. She got up again, and this time, with great reluctance, I followed her.

(Y/n) swung open the door, and on the other side stood a slightly shivering, pissed-off Eret. They opened their mouth to speak, but then saw me hovering over her shoulder. I was beyond confused.

"I thought you said it was some delivery boy?"

"Whatever," (Y/n) backtracked. "It wasn't anything important. See? Go away, Eret."

They glared at (Y/n). "For royalty, you sure are a total dunce when it comes to manners."

"Okay," I stepped in, putting myself between the two. "What's going on?"

Eret turned to me. "I have something to show you. All of you. It's big, and it's gonna help us win the battle tomorrow, I swear."

I glanced back at (Y/n), hurt. "I thought you were on our side. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I don't trust Eret," she defended. "What if it's a trap? Who told them about the fight tomorrow anyways?"

"Well, I-" She had a point, kind of. I certainly hadn't told them, but I wouldn't necessarily put it past the boys to mention it. "Eret is my general, they deserve to know."

"I just-"

"(Y/n)," I interrupted. "Please. I think I can talk to Eret and figure something out on my own."

She stood there for a moment, eyes flicking back and forth between me and Eret. Eventually, she huffed a sigh. "Fine. Whatever. Fine," she relented, heading back into the living room.

I returned my focus to Eret. "So? What is this thing you need to show me?"

Their lips twisted into a thin smile. "It's the surprise," they said. "The weapon, to destroy the Dream SMP. I finished it."

Suddenly, I was wide awake. I leaned in absently, my mind swirling with possibilities. "No way."

"Yes way," Eret said. "But it's really far away, and we have to go soon. Get Tommy and Tubbo. We have to get there before tomorrow."

I nodded, heading to the living room and letting Eret inside. They stood patiently in the foyer, waiting with their hands clasped behind their back.
