they are catching on
threatening to send me to doctors
count my calories
and watch me eat.
they are understanding how little
food makes it to my body.
i wonder what other lies they
will find
what happens to the food i do eat,
why my scars aren't white as
they should be by now,
the hair disappearing from my neck.
