our scared eyes darted across the room.
afraid to look at the other.
slowly our clothes became draped over chairs
and laid messily on the floor.
our bodies intertwined and knotted together
in what i felt was the perfect way.
we loved, we created chaos and returned to emptiness.
i'd have it no other way,
i'll miss the memories and the way we became one.
i'm sorry love, this is goodbye.
