I woke up and saw that it was 4 pm. I had slept through almost half the day. I checked my phone and I had 4 unread messages from byakuya.
Byakuya: y/n you left your bag at my house.
Byakuya: y/n?
Byakuya: y/n are you ok.
Byakuya: are you mad at me?
I felt so bad so I instantly responded to him.
Y/n<3: I was just asleep I'm not mad at you I'm sorry.
Byakuya: you're fine. I'll come drop it off so you don't have to get up.
Y/n<3: thank you!
Even though he's rude to other people he's very sweet around me. I like that about him.
After 10 minutes he was here. "Can I talk to you about something?" I said. "Of course" he waved the driver off and we went to my room. We both sat down on my bed and I started talking. "I don't know why but I don't feel like the ultimate geologist anymore. I still love geology even as a kid I used to study rocks and crystals all the time and now I don't." He put his arm around me. "I mean you can change your ultimate but you have to stay out of school for how ever long it takes you to get good at what ever you want your new ultimate to be." He said. "I wanna work at a restaurant. My dad always let me help out at the restaurant before my parents started working over seas." I stopped because mentioning my parents reminded me of that phone call. He could tell I was nervous so he held my hand. I smiled then continued talking. "I think I wanna be the ultimate waiter. I used to wait tables all the time so I won't be out of school for to long." He smiled and leaned on me. "Thats good." He said.
Byakuya had left then I sent in a job application to a restaurant in town and they said I could work there.
Y/n<3: MR RICH MAN I GOT THE JOB.
Byakuya: good for you but why the nickname
Y/n<3: because it fits
Byakuya: alright then
I drove to the restaurant and quickly went inside. "Hi! I'm y/n l/n, I applied to be a waiter here." I said. Someone helped me at first but after he saw that I was an expert he left.
After about 2 weeks I became the most amazing employee at the restaurant so I went back to school. I was very excited because while working at the restaurant I didn't have time to see my friends and byakuya. I didn't tell them I was coming back so it would be a surprise. When I walked in I saw byakuya putting stuff in his locker then he noticed me. He shut his locker then ran up and hugged me. I hugged him back then kissed him. "I missed you a lot byakuya and I'm now the ultimate waiter." I said happily. Then I heard someone shout my name. "Y/n! You're back!" Hina said. "Also we saw you guys kissing." Chihiro giggled. "Yeah and he was holding your waist." Hina said. I hadn't even realized until now. I blushed darkly then my friends gave me a hug. "Lets go to class so we aren't late." Sakura said. We all went to class and sat down. There were people talking as usual but sonia came up to byakuya. I just listened to their conversation. "Hi byakuya!" Sonia said as she leaned on his desk. "So I haven't seen you with anyone lately and I was wondering if you wanted to date?" Byakuya snickered. "Did you not see me and y/n in the hall a few minutes ago? I literally held their waist while we kissed. So I am happily taken and would love it if you left." Sonia looked annoyed at me and ran out. She wasn't even in her first class. "How many times have you rejected someone?" I asked. "Multiple times. One person couldn't take no for an answer so I had to get a restraining order on her." He said. "Cause I was gonna say you're really good at it." I smiled. He smiled back then the lesson started
He wasn't like some other people.
He actually cares.
