Honesty and lies. Two things that will always exist in human life. Sometimes, people forget or may not be smart to use both of these things correctly in their lives. They often use lies to cover up the mistakes that have been made. They never notice that one lie may lead to another lies and it will never end. The more lies you've created, then the less trust you gained. And people forget that the smallest trust begins with an honesty, and that which has been forgotten by Kim Taehyung

The launch product event of TV series that night ended perfectly. All the guest began to leave the building one by one after congratulate the CEO, Mr. Kim Taehyung. He smiled proudly seeing the successful event which became a routine event that his company held every half of year

"Congratulation Mr. Kim. Nice to cooperate with you" Mr. Chen, one of the biggest investor from China congratulated him before left the building with his wife

"Thank you. I hope our cooperation will continue well in the future" Taehyung held out his hand to shake that old man "Have a safe flight Mr. Chen" Then he slightly bowed as a farewell

He looked around and bowed respectfully to each guest who passed by him

"Congratulation Taehyung" Taehyung turned his head to see the source of a woman voice and found Joy was standing behind him, clapping her hands gracefully "You did it!"

He nodded respectfully "Thankyou Joy. You too did a great job" And smiled to her

"I didn't expect this many guests are still coming, I almost fell from nervous when I was talking from the stage earlier, aigoo" She chuckled when recalling an incident that she experienced earlier

"Me too, ahh fortunately all went smoothly. Thankyou Joy" Once again he thanked her for being a good partner

Joy lowered her head to hide her blushy cheeks, she didn't know why her heart was pounding like crazy everytime Taehyung smiled or laughed at her. Like she wanted to freeze time, so she could have him forever and won't share him with somebody else

"Where's your wife by the way?" She looked around to find Jennie, and ended looking at his eyes directly

"She's in the restroom" Joy nodded in understanding. There's a lil' bit dissapoinment in her heart when she heard his answer. She was hoping that his wife had already gone so she could talk with him freely

"Uh, hmm Tae, I wanna ask you something"

"Oh" He hummed as he sipping his red wine in one gulp

She put off the question and laughed when she saw wine left in the corners of his mouth

"Aigoo Tae, what are you, huh? An elementary kid? Aigoo" She chuckled as she wiped the corner of his mouth by her pink handkerchief carefully

Taehyung was startled, but he went stiff all of sudden. He could only lower his head when she was done wiping his mouth to hide his embarassment

"Thankyou"

"No need to shy Tae, Aiyy chill, nobody saw you" She looked around and suddenly her laugh vanished when she saw Kim Jennie stood like sculpture not far from where they stood. She cleared her throat nervously when Jennie approached them while Taehyung widen his eyes surprisingly

"Seems like you're busy, darling" She glanced cynically towards Joy as she folded her hands in front of her chest. Joy was stand like statue. She felt so uneasy and decided to shut her mouth while Taehyung tried to utter some words but cut by her first

"I'll leave first, ok?" Then she threw her deadly stare to her husband and left them arrogantly. At a glance, she looks like didn't care about what she had just seen earlier, but actually deep inside her heart was wounded again

Jennie quickened her pace when she heard the footsteps who followed from behind. She was sure it was him. She was so tired of hearing excuses and lies that come out of his mouth. What again? Just past? Just friend? Oh nonsense! What she had seen clearly enough to explain about the closeness of their relationship. She didn't want to listen another excuse anymore

"Jennie, wait!" He grabbed her wrist when he suceeded to approach her in front of the lobby. Jennie didn't have any choice unless directly face him

She turned and looked at his eyes sharply "What?"

Taehyung tried to manage his breath "Listen, you misunderstood. What you've seen -"

"Really? Oh. So you say it's all just a misunderstanding? Oh c'mon Tae!" She took off his hand roughly

"I don't need to hear any excuse. I've done with you, sorry" Then she walked towards their personal driver who has been waiting for them

"Give me the keys" She snatched the car keys without waiting for the response. The driver was really shocked and didn't do anything except obey his master's command. Jennie hastened to go inside and turned on the engine while Taehyung ran to catch her

"Jen, wait! open the door!" He banged on the window and begged her to stop the car. Useless, she even drove his car just like that without concern for her husband, she left him

Shit! ~ Taehyung cursed in mind

He scratched his hair in frustration as he closed his eyes. Jennie's face was spinning like wheel in his mind, made him even more insane and desperate. Jennie must be so angry. She just misunderstood. She didn't know that nothing happened between him and Joy, but he was so sure that Jennie saw when Joy wiped his mouth earlier. He could understand how she feel. Oh Damn!

"Taee" Someone's voice interrupted his reverie, restore his consciousness. He turned his body and saw Joy

"Don't say anything Joy" He lifted his right hand. He closed his eyes and inhaled "We shouldn't have to keep in touch again. I already messed up eveything and I don't want to hurt my wife again"

"W - what are you talking about, Tae?" Joy could feel the urge of her tears to come out

"Hey listen, I think we shouldn't have to meet again" Joy felt thunderstruck when she heard those words came out from his mouth "We should take care of ourselves, respectively. I almost lost everything, Hey You see, my wife is very upset and I've to explain it to her" He paused as his eyes started teary

"I love her. I love Jennie very much and I think I'll die if I lost her. Sorry Joy. Extremely Sorry" He said wholeheartedly, made Joy shook her head in disbelief. Tears began streaming down her cheeks

"No, you must be lying, Tae" She closed her eyes and let the tears flowing down even more. Just like him, she also felt so frustrating. Both of them were really clueless

"No. I'm telling the truth" He grabbed her hand and lifted her chin to look at his eyes directly "Honestly, I was really shocked when the first time I saw you. There lots of questions that I want to ask you for all this time. There are so many things that I want to tell you. But ..." He sighed as he threw his gaze to the floor blankly "....I don't want it anymore. I realized that I was just curious about you and it eventually turned into a sense of fear of losing my wife. I....I'm sorry Joy" He lowered his head as sign of his guilt

Joy took away his hand slowly "So this is....this is the reason why you rejected my calls and didn't reply to my message?" She asked between her sobs.

He nodded slowly "Sorry" He could only repeat his apology

She tried hard to control her emotions. "Don't cry Joy. I don't like to see a woman's cry" He wiped her tears by his thumb

"I thought you still love me, Tae. You ever said that you'll always love me no matter what but you left me" Joy cried even more. She drift in tears

"You left me first!" He almost shout when uttered that sentence. Her words just flicked right at his heart and made him mad. It was like a bomb which ready to explode at any time and she had just lit a fire to blow it up

"You did leave me without any reason. You left just like that without thinking about hurting my feelings. And now you're back and said that I was cruel to you because I would prefer Jennie than you, I .. aish what a selfish person you are, Joy" He was mad. He obviously mad at her. Yeah Joy was too much. She did something stupid that made him even more disliking her

"I'm sorry for my harsh words"

"You who started first and I just continue what you've started" He tapped her shoulder "Sorry Joy, I hope after this we can continue to live even better" Then he left her who still cried so hard

Taehyung walked inside the hall without any intention to send her home or even calmed her. He Himself didn't know how to deal with his wife, so he decided to put aside Joy, and maybe forever. Joy was still crying when Taehyung already left. Not long after that, her manager came and felt surprised seeing her red face that full of tears

"Pooh, what's wrong?" He asked worryingly as he lingered his hand over her shoulder. Joy cried even louder and bitterly. Her manager hugged her and rubbed her back "Let it out....its fine Joy"

"........." Still drift in tears

"Come on, let's go home" Then he dragged her towards the parking lot where her personal driver has been waiting for her in van

Meanwhile, Taehyung fortunately found Jungkook inside the room. He approached his best friend who was still busy checking on some files. He tapped Jungkook from behind

"Kookie, may I borrow your car? I need to go somewhere"

Jungkook frowned and tilt his head "Why? Where's your car? Don't you came with noona?" He put down the paper to look at his hyung seriously. He already smelt that something wrong happened to him

"She has gone. She saw me and Joy were talking" Taehyung said .

"Aaand?" Here he goes. Jungkook could easily guess that Taehyungn had not said it completely. He really knows how to push his hyung to tell the truth

"She was really mad when she saw Joy was wiping wine on my lips" He heavily sighed

Jungkook followed him to sigh "There you go, hyung. I already guessed that you did something stupid. I would do the same thing if I were noona. Or maybe I would slap you hard" He said nonchalantly, of course he didn' t mean it, but it was clear enough to slap Taehyung and made him even more guilt

"I know" Once again he sighed

"Go find her and ask for apologize before it's too late, hyung" Jungkook reached into his pocket and handed his car keys to Taehyung

He received it and thank him "Thankyou Kookie"

"Yup, good luck hyung" He waved towards him who already left in hurry
