Dr. Taeyong proceeded to give Jennie her monthly check up, and then instructed her to lie down and lift her shirt up for the ultrasound portion of the examination

"Now, do you two wants to know the gender of your baby?" Taeyong asked as he spread the gel across Jennie's belly

"Yes, we do" Jennie giggled as she looked down fondly at her tummy

Taehyung chuckled and leaned down to give Jennie a kiss on the cheek, causing her to blush ever so slightly

The doctor touched the wand to Jennie's stomach and began running it back and forth

On the screen, Taehyung smiled at the sight of his unborn child. It had only been a few weeks, so the baby hadn't gotten too much bigger. He could actually see some noticeable difference, however

"Judging from the last photos I saw" Taeyong commented with a modest smile "She's gotten a little bigger"

"Aww" Jennie cooed softly. Then, something about the doctor's remark made her look up with wide, shocked eyes "Did you just say she....?"

"Yes. You are having a girl" Taeyong smiled

"A little baby girl" Jennie spoke, her tone flooded with happy tears

"Wow, mini Jennie" Taehyung chuckled, his eyes sparkling once he set them on the image of his unborn daughter

Taehyung leaned down to kiss her lips passionately. Jennie reddened under the contact, which caused Taeyong to giggle at the couple

"Tae... you're so embarrassing...." Jennie mumbled, although the smile on her lips told a different story

"Only because I love you" Taehyung rubbed under her chin

"Well well, look what the baby is up to now"

Taehyung and Jennie turned their attention back to the screen, carefully studying the image of their little baby. Taehyung didn't understand what the doctor was talking about, but Jennie picked up on it rather quickly

"Is she sucking on her thumb?" Jennie asked curiously

"Yes, she is" Taeyong nodded, pointing towards the baby's arm in order to show Taehyung what Jennie'd meant

He clearly saw it at that point, which caused him to audibly "aww" Jennie found that absolutely delectable

"That's....really cute" Taehyung rubbed the back of his neck, a heavy blush forming on his cheeks. He didn't exactly like going soft in front of people, it just wasn't manly

"Babies do lots of different things in the stomach" Taeyong explained with a smile "This would definitely be one of them"

"Adorable" Jennie cooed quietly

"Well then" Taehyung lovingly rubbed her cheek with his thumb "She's really taking after her Mommy" The red tint re-appeared on Jennie's face. Taehyung really was the sweetest husband in the entire world

4 Months Later

Taehyung hung up the phone and approached his sister and brother in law, his brown eyes shimmering with concern and wonder

"What's up?" Taehyug murmured

"The doctor came into the waiting room looking for you. He said that Jennie is ready for the procedure" Jungkook said

"Alright...." Taehyung took in a deep breath and began to march towards the waiting room

Jungkook and Eunjin gasped softly and followed after him, nervously

"Hyung, fast" Jungkook gently tugged at Taehyung's arm. He allowed his brother- in- law to pull him into the waiting room, feeling unable to walk at this point. It had just occurred to him that he and Jennie were just about to have another child....and that something could be wrong with her

"Ah, Taehyung, there you are" He realized rather quickly that it was Dr. Taeyong talking to him. He was standing in the center of the waiting room, and had changed out of his lab coat into a set of blue surgical scrubs

"J...Jennie is ready?" Taehyung stammered. He mentally slapped himself for that one. Of course Jennie was ready. Why else would the doctor be in the room?

"Yes" Taeyong nodded "But ... I must warn you that I had to administer some anesthesia" Taehyung's eyes grew as wide as saucers, so Dr. Taeyong explained "Jennie was in absolute frenzy. Screaming and crying, and I'm pretty sure she threatened to hit me with a rod"

"Yep, that's my Jennie" Taehyung held onto his forehead and tried to laugh. Tried, but with no success. The thought of Jennie screaming and freaking out in the hospital room brought back those horrifying images from when Taehyung had left her to go back into the waiting room to talk to with his son. And right away, the guilt was back
