Ch. 5 What Happened To Us?

The sunlight shined through Luz's window, Amity groaned when the sunlight hit her face waking her up.

Amity laid there for a few minutes before getting up deciding to surprise Luz with breakfast in bed or breakfast in a sleeping bag.

Amity kissed her girlfriend's cheek before heading downstairs and into the kitchen. She grabbed two griffon eggs from the fridge, some strawberries and quickly moved over to the stove.

"Morning Mittens." Catherine grinned, sipping her coffee.

"Morning Auntie." Amity replied as she put the stuff on the counter. She froze, stopping in her place and turned around seeing Catherine sitting at the table, coffee in hand.

"A-Aunt Catherine?" Amity gasped. She ran over to her and pulled her into a hug. Catherine held her tightly.

"Hehe. Hello sweetie. How are you?"

"I-I'm fine! But what the heck are you doing here?! How did you find me?!" Amity asked feeling very confused but happy.

"Oh did I never tell you Mittens? Eda and Lilith are old school friends of mine. I came to visit them last night, saw that you were cuddled up to Luz so I decided that I would stay the night and give you a ride home in the morning." Catherine said sipping more of her coffee.

"Wait! You know Eda and Lilith?!"

"Know us? Ha! Kid your aunt and I used to get into all sorts of trouble."

Amity turned her head to see Eda standing in the doorway with a smirk on her face. "Let me tell you something, Your Aunt was one heck of a trouble maker back in school."

Amity finished making Luz's breakfast as Eda finished the story of how Catherine taught her to NOT eat strawberry lipgloss.

"Wait. So you actually ATE the lipgloss?" Amity asked with disgust written on her face.

"Hey, what can I say it was sparkly, it was slimy and my favorite fruit. Who wouldn't want to eat it." Eda said proudly.

Amity and Catherine gave eachother a look before turning to Eda. "Nobody!" Both said at the same time.

"Okay! I get it, nobody eats it. Alright, What else can I tell you." Eda asked tilting her head to think.

"Oh! How about we tell her about the time we were in the boys locker room." Catherine said with a smirk on her face. Eda's face turned a bright pink, she slid over on the table and got in Catherine's face.

"NO! Cath we made a promise to NEVER tell anyone what happened in there!"

"Uh..What did happen?" Amity asked a little curious and scared.

"Well Mittens it was a night after a grudgby tournament and I had snuck into the boys locker room to kiss one of them, but it was dark so I ended up accidentally kissing-." Eda put a hand over Catherine's mouth preventing her from talking.

"Don't. You. Dare." Eda hissed.

Amity grabbed the tray of food and backed out of the kitchen before things got awkward. Walking up the stairs she was so focused on trying not to spill or drop anything, she didn't notice a person at the top of the stairs.

"Amity?"

Amity looked up to see she was close to bumping into Lilith. "Huh? Oh! Good Morning Miss Clawthorne. Sorry I got distracted."

"That's quite alright my dear. Do you need any help?" She asked in a gentle tone.

"No. I've got it but thank you Miss Clawthorne."
