Joseph POV: I would wake up confused and I look around, noticing I'm in a hospital I sigh and lay back down while I heard a nurse come into the room and I would close my eyes and pretend I was still knocked out

Beths POV: "Hmm I hope he wakes up soon.. I kinda like seeing his face.." I would walk to his bedside and check his IV fluids and look back at his cute face "Wow I love that cute face of his! I wish this war didn't happen so I can see many other cute human faces!... Oh well Beth go do your job and don't get sidetracked.." I'd turn around and walk to the clipboard and look at it
Joseph: He would open his eyes and try to reach for the IV fluid bag
Beth: "Hm is he up now?" I would see him out of the corner of my eye and turns around slowly
Joseph: He manages to get back in his original position with his eyes closed
Beth: I turn back around "Weird... I thought I saw him move"
Joseph: He opens his eyes again and attempts the same thing
Beth: I would turn back around again thinking that he moved but he doesn't move "..." I would continue to watch him not turning around
Joseph: He opens his eyes again and tries to reach again, not noticing that I was looking at him
Beth: "You can stop faking your unconsciousness I see you"
Joseph: "Son of a bitch..." He would sit up and remove the IV needle out of his skin
Beth: "Hey sir! Keep that needle attached to you"
Joseph: "I don't need more IV fluid... and what the hell happened to my friends also?"
Beth: "They are all fine.. except for one"
Joseph: "Jess?"
Beth: "Mhmm... but the weird thing is.. we only found her melted dog tags and not her body"
Joseph: "L-like not even a single bone at all??"
Beth: I nods softly "Your other friends are on the other side of the sheet set up here, you really are a lifesaver"
Joseph: "I was only doing my job you know protecting my other squad mates"
Beth: "You... are apart of the army with them?.."
Joseph POV
Joseph: "Son of a bitch.. I now wish that I didn't say anything now" "Yes I'm now apart of the army now, we were heading to the army base when the vehicle got hit"
Beth: "Yea I heard the person who smashed into you had it worse.. their face got smashed into the steering wheel and splitting their skull open"
Joseph: "I heard worse.."
Beth: "What do you mean by I heard worse?"
Joseph: "One of our soldiers were captured by the enemy during the war.. and he was interrogated just outside our base, we could heard his screams but nobody had the guts to go help him.. They then dragged him away and proceeded to.. rape him and then kill him by slowly cutting off his skin and then leaving him to die. One of the men found him later on. He was just hanging onto life but when he got taken back to the medical center.. he died.."
Beth: "O-oh Jesus... I-I need to go for a minute.." She would walk out of the room
Joseph: "That's one way to get her to leave.." I would grab the curtain on the side of me and pull it back, allowing me to see Faye who had her eyes closed "Hey Fay! Wake up!"
Faye: No response would be heard or movement
Joseph: "Ugh.... Alright then she should wake up soon I hope" I would sit up and move my body to the side of the bed and stand up and slowly walk to the other side of the curtain past Faye and peaks to see darkness without her mask looking down at her fingers
Joseph: "Hey darkness you good?"
Darkness: She would growl and look at me "Piss off human..."
Joseph: "Darkness you don't remember me?"
Darkness: "The only thing I remember is I like killing your friends you little shit!" She would sit up staring daggers at Joseph
Joseph: "I-I'm just going to go.." I would turn around and run back to bed "Did she hit her head so hard she forgot her memories?" I would get back into the bed and lay back down as I heard someone getting out of bed "Please don't tell me it's darkness" I would repeat the sentence over and over until I saw darkness looking over at me with sharp scissors in her hand "God please have mercy on me please.."
Darkness: "God won't be able to save you for what I'm about to do to you pesky human~" She walked closer to me
Joseph: "Darkness this ain't you! Snap out of it!"
Darkness: "This is me you worthless piece of shit" She raised the scissors up
Joseph: "Oh shit I can't move from here.. the only thing I can do I hope she stabs my shoulder.." I would brace myself for the pain that will be coming to my body
