During this year, Min-ah was pushed into the public eye more so than ever. Before, Min-ah never did much talking in interviews, so the company wanted her to open up more despite Min-ah's hesitation. The beginning of the year had been pretty rough for Min-ah, as she experienced a rough heartbreak out of the public eye, and wasn't given the chance to properly work though it before she was then pushed to become a guest on a variety show revolving around relationships. She began to grow comfortable with hiding or ignoring her emotions.

𝗦𝗧𝗬𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪

In terms of style, Min-ah considered this year like a breath of relief. Her clothing and hair were kept very neutral.

𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪

Because of Min-ah's appearance on the variety show, We Got Married, fans were given a better look at Min-ah's personality. Min-ah won over many viewers during this time period. She was seen as a bubbly and easily love-able girl. Her and Sung-jae were the most talked about idols during this year because of their on-screen chemistry.

𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪

In an attempt to ignore the things going on in her private life, Min-ah really dove into her work. She was given more lines during the albums from this year, which meant she got more time in the spotlight. This year was also the first year, Min-ah was more involved with writing songs for the group, thus grew the beginning of her love for writing music.

𝗥𝗨𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗦 & 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗦

When Min-ah was first announced to become a cast member of We Got Married, she recieved heavy amounts of criticism. Many netizens believed that Min-ah was "stealing" the spotlight away from her other members. After a few episodes of the show were released, some of the criticism washed away but never completely.
