Variety woke up to the smell of marmalade and coffee. The scents did not compliment each other but were individually exciting, and then she heard her father.

" Severus, I see you're cheerful as usual." Obviously he was being sarcastic. Variety could practically hear Snape roll his eyes.

Dad and Snape are here?

She pulled up her robe as she hurried downstairs excitingly. Snape was dressed in formal wear she rarely ever saw him wear. He sat with his legs stretched out and crossed, leaned back in his chair and sipped from a cup of tea, reading a book.

Jade sat across from Snape looking a lot like her father, except she was in pajamas and not formal wear. She was eating marmalade on toast and reading from a book. Minerva was making Variety's coffee. And Dumbledore - being the way he is- was wearing a blue with yellow stars boxer shorts, and a kitchen apron that said " #ONEMOM". He was dancing and cooking breakfast. His long silver hair was up in a hair net and his beard was in pink hair rollers. At least this time he had the decency to put on a shirt, on several occasions Snape's eyes had been assaulted by Dumbledore's partial nudity.

" Good morning Dear." He said overly sweet, using his wand to levitate food across the room onto a plate at the kitchen table. Minerva placed a cup of coffee beside the plate of food, then patted Variety's cheek while she took her seat and refilled Snape's tea. Minerva sat beside Jade and watched Albus amusedly.

Variety looked at her mum lovingly. The girl wasn't unaware of the age gap between the three adults in the room. Her Mum was old enough to be Snape's Mum. As well as her dad was at least forty years older than her mum. Besides their age gap, Variety never understood why her parents weren't together.

They never fought, always got along like two best friends and were clearly fond of each other. But she never sensed romance between the two of them. They both loved her. She had no doubt.

" You are definitely going to be in Gryffindor." Snape said, slowly prying the book from Jade's hands. Variety knew, both Snape and his daughter had a habit of reading rather than eating. Jade scowled at him and he raised an eyebrow. She sighed in defeat and took a bite of her food then stuck her tongue out at him.

He squinted his eyes in a sort of mean way while he tucked his and her books into his robe's pockets.

" Why do you say that?" Variety asked Snape.

" You currently have a mane Greater than a lions." he said.

Variety had elbow length platinum blonde hair, the color Dumbledore's had been before his hair turned white. but she had just woken up and immediately gone downstairs. Her hair was tangled and poofed up and sticking out in all directions. Jade looked at Variety as she chuckled quietly.

Jade Snape had pale skin like her father. Her hair was so dark it sometimes looked dark blue in certain lighting, it was long enough to touch her knees and was sort of wavy in an elegant way.

It was the morning of Draco's ball. While they ate, Minerva did the girl's hair. Neither seemed keen about going to the ball but Jade was really excited to see Draco. " Father, do you think he will be wearing robes like you?"

" Oh! Mum." Variety hissed. Minerva was trying to detangle Variety's hair with a hair brush and magic.

" No, Jewels" Dumbledore said, pinching her cheek and sitting beside her. " No one dresses as depressing as Severus."

Snape scowled at Dumbledore.

Snape basically snidely complained the whole time while the eleven year olds talked about the ball. Dumbledore was more childish than them, gossiping about people they were sure were made up.
