Life for the gods who watches over each country and those who bless their pair of eyes to mortals, doesn't have it easy.

A god would talk to a mortal, but time goes too fast for them, that the people gods greet and meet, disappears before they know it.

"The time I shared with you has been nothing but precious memories. If the time ever comes when you and me get separated, the memories I shared with you will continue to spark in my heart and mind, just like the spark when you pummel a gear one last time in an anvil, feeling satisfied at the end product, Ei." On a cliff somewhere on Inazuma, his white hair flutters and his visible crimson red eyes was on Ei's, as the wind caresses his cheeks, while giving her a meaningful smile.

Ei couldn't help but smile at him as she stood behind and under his silhouette, stabbing her spear onto the ground beside his weapon.

"The time I spent with you was fulfilling, and even though I'm just her shadow, you made it look like I was the single streak of light fighting the darkness. As if you're making me the single streak of lightning that continues to follow the spark you make when you pummel your hammer when creating weapons. I feel really grateful to you for not only giving me a push on the back. But you also made me realize my worth." Ei said with a pleasant smile on her face, making the white haired man smile in return.

Both of them stared at the setting sun while the wind blew softly, Ei slowly approaching the man, hugging him from behind.

Noticing this, the man bashfully asks.

"Ei? Is something wrong?" Ei didn't reply as she tightened her hug.

"E-Ei? What's gotten to you all of a sudden? Th-they're touching you know?" He started stuttering when he realized that Ei started to become overly affectionate all of a sudden.

"Our conversation just now..." Ei said to him.

"You make it sound like you're going somewhere far..." Ei said to him sadly.

"Ei, I..." The man was surprised, and he didn't know what to say.

"Turn around and look me in the eyes."

The man did what Ei said. He turned around, but he couldn't look at her in the eyes.

"I knew it..." Ei puts her hands on his cheeks and turns his face to her and locks her eyes on him. When he looked at Ei's eyes, he couldn't help but feel mesmerized.

"I'm sorry for keeping it from you... Ei, my time has come. They will soon catch up to me, and I don't want this place that is very dear to you, be destroyed by them." The man said to her, with his crimson eyes with a look of sadness.

"This place, this country, you're right, it's precious to me." Hearing this, the man felt a little sad and guilty.

"Then-"

"However, you're as important as well!" Ei said, her eyes a little moist.

The man was speechless, and he didn't know what to do after what Ei said to him. Realising this, Ei took the man's arm and pulled him to her, with her hand on his cheek.

Smooch. Was the speechless man felt, as his attention started to return to him, eventually realizing that he was kissed on the lips. The softness of her lips, and her continuous gasp for air. Her scent tickled his nose, but he soon wraps his arms around her back and kisses her back in return. Noticing this, Ei's lips softened and reciprocated the kiss. After they felt satisfied, they slowly pull back from each other, their foreheads touching each other, as the man slowly lets go of her.

"I didn't expect you to kiss me back, but it's not like I don't like it." Ei said, giving him a passionate smile.

The man blushes, but soon composes him self.
