"Sunoo dear?" Sunoos mom calls out from the other side of the bedroom door while knocking softly. "Sunoo why aren't you answering?" She asks while knocking on the door once again. "That's it, I'm opening the door" she says as she pulls the doorknob. "Sunoo dear why aren't you awake ye-" she stops talking, caught of guard by the sight in front of her.
Sunoo wasn't alone. He was laying in the arms of a boy. She did recognize the shirtless boy as Ni-ki because Sunoo had shown pictures with him and was constantly talking about him. She understood that her son obviously had a crush on the other boy, she saw the way his eyes lit up and how he always smiled when talking about him. And so she gave the sleeping boys a smile before walking out of the room and closing the door again.
*Sunoo's pov*
I woke up feeling all warm and cozy as I snuggled closer to the source of heat laying next to me, it felt nice. I finally opened my eyes letting them get use to the light as I comforted my head closer to whatever I was hugging. I looked up and finally saw him. I was once again wrapped up around Ni-ki but this time he wasn't even wearing a shirt. I didn't mind though, he must've just forgotten to put it on. It was so cozy and I honestly didn't want to get up so I just stayed there for a bit. My arms around Ni-ki's thin waist and my head laying on his chest. I felt bad for making him go to that dumb party. If I hadn't made him go then he wouldn't have relapsed and gotten drunk. And it's not like it was a very great party either. It didn't help that Han was there. We use to go to the same school until I moved to my current school. We would hang out pretty often and have sleep overs but that was before everything changed. It was right after my relationship with Taehyun ended and I was a mess. I went to Han's house in hopes of comfort but he just kissed me. I felt uncomfortable because it was without my consent and I was all confused and heartbroken and after that it just became worse. He started to become more touchy with me, I always asked him to stop but he never did. He would kiss me, touch my thighs and I felt so disgusted and uncomfortable. That's why I changed schools.
I didn't know that he would be at the party so I was so surprised when I saw him. I didn't want to look rude so I just smiled back and tried my best to stay away from him but a while into the party he came through the front doors while I was still looking for Ni-ki and dragged me into a corner of the house. He was obviously not sober but I just felt so uncomfortable and when I tried to push him away he just pushed me harder against the wall and took his hands up on my waist. I felt his cold hands on my bare stomach and his puffy lips kissing on my neck. All the past memories came back into my head as I tried to get him off me. I finally managed to push him off and continued looking for Ni-ki.
Just rethinking the moment made me cry. I was now sobbing on Ni-kis chest, praying that I won't wake him up. "What's wrong Sunoo" I heard Ni-ki ask. I quickly looked up towards his face. How long has he been awake?
I let out another sobb as I looked into his eyes before laying my head back onto his chest. "Hey it's okay, you can tell me anything" he says as he brushes through my hair. "You know that guy at the party? The one that welcomed us at the door?" I say in between the sobs. "Yeah, Han something right?" He says with a raspy morning voice. "Mhm" is the only thing I can get out. "Sunoo it's okay" he whispered in my ear as he holds me closer to him. "He went to my old school, he was my friend but when me and Tae broke up he..he started..touching me and kissing me without my consent, so I changed schools but yesterday he.. he did it again" I say with tears streaming down my face. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asks me in a worried voice as he wraps me tightly I'm his arms. "I didn't want you to think I was..disgusting"
"I would never think that about you Sunoo, I care about you deeply and I want you to come to me when you're struggling" he says. "Wanna go to the mall today? Just us? Boba?"
"Of course" i answered, i felt safe with Ni-ki.
"Wait, why am i shirtless?" He asks as he try's to cover his stomach with his arms. "You forgot to put on a shirt yesterday. It's okay, I don't mind" I tell him, I can see his cheeks getting a little pink from what I said.
*Nobody's pov*
The two boys were now sitting on a buss that would take them from Sunoo's house and to the mall. None of them new if this was supposed to be a "date" or if it was just a normal hang out thing.
The buss was very loud and there were quite a lot of passengers, Sunoo noticed how Ni-ki's leg was shaking up and down while he was fidgeting with his fingers, scratching his skin. He understood that the boy probably wasn't a fan of loud places and people so he grabbed his wired headphones from his pocket and plugged them into his phone, putting one in his ear and reaching out to give the other one to Ni-ki. The boy looked confused at first but then he gave in and put it in his ear. Sunoo pressed one of the songs that were on his playlist, "Polaroid Love" and connected his hand to Ni-ki's to stop him from scratching himself. Sunoo didn't like how Ni-ki felt about himself. In Sunoo's eyes Ni-ki was the most beautiful person on earth. He rested his head on Ni-ki's shoulder and closed his eyes as Ni-ki brushed through his hair once again.
The buss stopped in front of the big mall and the boys stepped off. They went towards a small boba shop and placed their orders. It didn't take long until their drinks were ready and they got up to get them. They sat there drinking and chatting about random things, laughing uncontrollably.
*Ni-ki's pov*
Sunoo is so incredibly beautiful, that's all I can think about when I'm looking at him. Right now he's wearing a pair of light blue baggy jeans and a light purple college shirt. We were having so much fun until the question that I had tried to ignore came up.
"So when is your dad coming back? I would love to meet him!"
Sunoo said with his beautiful smile on his face. "Oh..I don't really know" I answered quietly while scratching my neck. I think he noticed how I felt about the subject so he immediately changed and talked about something else.
*Nobody's pov*
They cuntinued to walk around the mall, in and out of stores for hours. They decided to walk into a little cute clothing store that Sunoo said that he liked. It wasnt suprising based of the colorful decorations that were inside of the store. Sunoo immidietly started picking out clothes he liked or in his words "LOVEEE" and hung them over his arm. He then picked up a light blue oversized hoodie and put it up in the air in front of Ni-ki. "This would be so cute on you!" he said excitedly with a smile on his lips. Ni-ki never wore colorful clothes because he didnt want to drag any sort of attention towards himself, but there was something about Sunoo that made him buy the hoodie.
The rest of the day went by fine. They had a lot of fun and Sunoo walked Ni-ki home before walking to his own house. As soon as Ni-ki had closed the door behind him he started smiling and huggging his new hoodie closer to his chest, he was so happy at that moment. And that night Ni-ki fell asleep with a big smile on his face, still holding the light blue hoodie tightly to his chest.
