"Championship dayyyyy" Connie woke me up by jumping on me, she had slept over last night after a little begging to her mom and my dad. "Yesssss" I jumped up and began getting ready the game was set for noon and it was 10am we had to be at the rink at 11:30 "dad let's gooo" we had to go a little earlier because dad had to be there first since it was home rink. "At 11" he said it was 10:55 "that's only five more minutes" I whined sitting at the door. "Ok ok let's go" he rolled his eyes and grabbed the keys and me and Connie ran to the car hockey bags in hand. "We're gonna win this" Connie said excitedly "Hell yea" I gave her a high five and we were off. "Ok calm down" my dad laughed as we pulled up to the rink and me and Connie screamed.
