All Lynark are born with 4 tri-ventricle hearts that don't begin beating separately until the first or second day after birth. Afterward they stop all together and, in males, begin with the upper left heart and beat in clockwise rotation.
Unlike other mammals, Lynarke bodies can maintain blood circulation without their hearts beating by subconscious flexing of the muscles that encase and hold each heart in place.
