you have been charged with a crime

of being a human resembling a female

for this crime

you have been sentenced to a life of servitude:

a life of nothing, an existence of labor

an eternity of pain, a sentence of hatred.

you have committed a felony

of daring to question your sentence

for that crime

you are told to cut off your tongue

and bury it at your feet

trample your words and snuff them out

and your punishment will be less.

you have committed a taboo

of daring to put your foot on the ladder

and climb up the ranks

for that crime

you are to lay your head on the stones to be ridiculed

and to be put to death.

there is no salvation for female-shaped humans.

there is no savior.
