y/n POV:
me and hailee walked into the big building,
we were going to a press/party sorta thing idk but a lot of people are gonna be there.
i don't know many of these people so i hope hailee stays with me.
we walked into the big crowd and hailee immediately starts taking to people.
i stood there holding her hand not knowing what to do.
i just let her do her thing and waited.
hailee got dragged over somewhere else so i went to the food stall and took a few grapes.
i stood from a distance and watched hailee laugh and have fun with these other people.
i stood there for a while before walking over grabbing her hand again.
she didn't even look at me.
"hey ba-" i was cut off by someone else
i felt humiliated and embarrassed just stood there doing nothing.
"i'm going to the bathroom" i said to hailee but she didn't respond
i went into the bathroom and locked the door behind me.
i looked into the mirror and tried my best not to cry.
i just sat on the counter and went on my phone.
about 45 minutes passed and i heard a knock on the door
"occupied" i yelled
"y/n is that you? i've been looking for you everywhere it's time to go now"
i opened the door and stared at her with an annoyed expression.
she looked confused as i didn't say a word and started walking to the car.
the car ride home was silent.
everytime hailee tried to speak i turned the music louder so she could know how i felt.
we arrived home and i swiftly walked into the house still not talking to hailee.
i just sat on the couch in silent trying to find a food show on netflix.
hailee walked in and stood next to me trying to kiss me but i denied.
hailee POV:
i went to kiss y/n but as i did she looked away.
did i do something wrong?
i sat down on the couch with her and tried to get closer to cuddle.
she just moved further and further away as i got closer.
i got up to dish up some dinner she had made me.
i sat down on the countertop enjoying my food until y/n stood up and started walking upstairs
"where are you going?" i asked
"shower" she responded blankly
i was confused because we hardly ever shower without eachother.
"i'll be up in a second hold on"
i quickly ate a few more bites of my food and put away my plate before running upstairs and into our room.
i went to open the bathroom door and it was locked and the shower was running.
"Y/N I WAS GONNA SHOWER WITH YOU" i said loud enough so she could hear me
after i said that music immediately started playing so she couldn't hear my voice.
i was kinda offended.
i sat in the bed waiting for her to finish.
she opened the door walking out in only a towel and her wet hair dripping from her shoulders
"why are you ignoring me" i scoffed
"why am I ignoring YOU?!" she emphasised the "i" and "you"
"you've been ignoring me all day jesus christ. you didn't even pay attention to me at that party!" y/n scoffed answering her own question
the towel dropped from her body and she walked into her walk in closet but closed the door behind me before i could walk in.
"y/n i'm sorry i've been busy all day"
"you acted like i wasn't even there" her voice sounded shaky
"baby i'm sorry i was distracted. i really am sorry"
the door suddenly opened and y/n spoke
"your sleeping on the couch" she said walking past
"WHAT" i raised my voice
y/n didn't say anything else but threw a pillow at me to catch before hand motioning for me to leave.
it kinda hurt that y/n did that. she knows i'm busy a lot but maybe i should have payed more attention to her.
i grabbed a blanket and set down the pillow on the couch.
luckily the couch was comfy so it didn't hurt.
i closed my eyes but struggled to sleep
y/n POV
about 2 hours passed and i couldn't sleep.
i felt bad for hailee and i missed her in bed.
i stepped out and quietly walked downstairs.
i walked infront of the couch and noticed hailee was asleep.
i kneeled down and slowly shook her.
"hailee" i whispered softly
"hm" she rubbed her eyes
"can you come to bed...i miss you"
hailee just smiled and me and without a response she stood up and hugged me.
we both walked upstairs and crawled under the covers.
we held eachother close, caressing our body's
"i'm sorry" she whispered
"shh it's okay i was just being dramatic go to sleep"
hailee giggled in response and we exchanged i love yous and fell asleep
