my bestfriend Hailee just called me, she was crying her heart out but didn't say why, she begged for me to come over and obviously i said yes.
i looked like shit today but Hailee needed me so i rushed off.
i arrived at her house and knocked on her door before walking in
"hailee?..where are you?" i yelled softly
"up-upstairs" she hiccuped
i heard the pain in her voice and sprinted upstairs to her room where i found her curled up in her covers, tissues scattered everywhere and her eyes swollen
she looked up at me and started crying even harder
"oh haiz my love what's going on"
i sat on the bed with her and pulled her close to me, holding her head to my chest while she gripped on tightly.
her tears leaving stains on my dark gray shirt, i couldn't care at this point, all i cared about was my best friend.
"haiz..cmon speak to me what happened" my hands massaged her scalp to help calm her down
she couldn't speak, her tears kept spilling out her beautiful eyes and she sobbed louder and louder
"he...he cheated on me y/n" her voice cracked
hailees voice was broken and hoarse, i could hear the heartbreak in her tone, she was really hurt.
anger immediately filled my body. i hated the thought of anyone hurting hailee.she didn't deserve this at all. i squeezed her body tighter as she tried to talk some more
"what did i do wrong y/n" she whispered
"nothing baby you did nothing at all"
"he doesn't deserve you haiz"
"you deserve the world"
i comforted hailee as much as i could, which worked as she calmed down a lot
"listen to me haiz...fuck him"
my fingers lifted up her chin so i could look her her puffy red face
"you deserve so much better..Niall is just a stupid immature fuckbag"
hailee giggled softly at my insult towards him and nuzzled her face in my neck
"thank you for coming so soon" hailee sniffled
"anytime, i love you haiz" i kissed her forehead and rubbed her back
"i love you too y/n/n"
hailee leaned away and wiped away her tears and snot on the used tissue next to her and took a deep breath
"let's get all this cleaned up and watch a movie mkay?"
she hummed and got comfy in her bed while i cleaned up the mess.
i gave her a new box of tissues and she placed them next to her before pulling me into bed with her
"stranger things?" i asked
"yesss!" hailee smiled
i put on the series and we both lay down, she let her head rest on my shoulder.
not long after hailee fell asleep, both of her arms wrapped around mine, hugging me from the side.
i smiled at the feeling and turned the volume down lower
"i love you so much hailee. so fucking much." i said to her and kissed her hair
about 2 hours later while i was asleep hailee woke up.
