"y/n my love could you run to the store for me?" my girlfriend hailee asked from in the kitchen
"ya what do you need" i said while walking up behind her
"a new spatula, this one broke" hailee frowned
"okay anything else" giggling at her cuteness
"..hm..some snacks to pleaseeeeee"
"okie dokie i wont be long"
i walked to the front door, putting in some shoes and a coat while hailee stood next to me and watched
"here" she handed me her credit card
"drive safe baby i love you"
"i love you too and i will"
we shared a short peck before u grabbed my keys and walked out of the house into the driveway
"THANK YOU!!" hailee yelled from the front door
i laughed to myself and stepped into my tesla. i put on my favourite playlist and started to drive off.
i arrived to the store and walked in,grabbing a basket while the bright lights hit my face
as i was walking to the cutlery isle a candle stand caught my eye. it was hard to resist so i walked up and started smelling the interesting scents. i was so mesmerised by them all and decided to put 2 of the best ones in my basket, we needed some more candles at home anyways
i scanned the cutlery isle looking for what hailee requested and found it, reaching up and grabbing it off the hanger then placing it into the basket with the 2 big candles
as i was about to leave i saw an adorable set of cookie cutters. i picked them up and admired them, imagining me and hailee baking some cookies at home and having fun so i saw no harm in placing them in the basket
by the time i reached the snack isle i had all sorts of stuff in my basket such as sunglasses, matching onesies, matching slippers, coats for our dogs, and LOTS more. the basket was already filling over, i had to hurry and leave before i but the whole store, hailee probably thinks i've been kidnapped because i've been gone for so long.
i picked out a bunch of snacks and brought it to the tills, the young woman behind the desk scanned them all and i placed all my items in the multiple bags i had to buy
"and that will be 823.47 dollars please ma'am"
i put in hailees card and smiled before picking up the bags and walking out. it may have seemed like i'm chill but i didn't realise i spent that much on random crap. i was shitting myself, it wasn't even my money...

shit well she realised that quickly. i loaded all the bags into the trunk and rushed home.
i pulled into the driveway and saw hailee and the dogs sat in the window waiting. she saw me and immediately started laughing which calmed my nerves a lot
i grabbed all the bags out the trunk again, struggling to keep hold of them and walked up to the front door, hailee was there to open it for me.
i dumped all bags on the table and looked at hailee with a worried smile
"wow...did you atleast remember the spatula?"
"yes! it's in there somewhere" "sorry i went a bit overboard"
hailee could tell i was worried and pulled me into a hug
"baby...really i don't care that you spend so much, you could spend all my money and i wouldn't care don't worry"
i smiled up at her and gave her a kiss. she really is an angel
"now show me what you got"
hailee sat down on a chair at the head of the table and watched me haul all the stuff i got
from clothes, to toys, to candles, to accessories, decorations, dog toys, stuff we needed, plants, blankets, pillows, the snacks she requested and lots more stupid stuff
hailee enjoyed every single product i bought, knowing we needed quite a lot of this stuff she was relieved that it wasn't all tacky stuff
"and here's your spatula!" i pulled the final thing out of the bag
"my spatula!"
hailee stood up again and took the spatula off me, pulling me into a hug and holding me tightly
