Jin-woo pov

"If you wanted to, you could live n this world for eternity. It would be like never waking up from the most wonderful dream." A man suited in black armor, solid black smoke coming off him. Even though I have never seen him before I could recognize him in an instant. Ashborn who Ji-soo talked about.

"Are you telling me to be trapped within this illusion you created?"

"I did not create this world. You are responsible for its creation. It's a world created by combining your desire to correct your mistakes up until now, together with my power."  

Turning into Song Chi-Yul as he walks past me. "In other words, this is my territory." 

The next form he took is of Lee Joohee. Now behind me causing me to turn to keep my eye on him. His words felt like a huge weight being put on my shoulders. "This is the eternal rest."

Turning to face me taking the form of the bloody Kim-Sangshik. "Death." And I thought this interaction couldn't be more creepy. 

Next, he took the form of my sister. "You, who had always been closer than anyone to death, yet so desperately resisting against it." Then my mother. "I am the record of your struggles the evidence of your resistance, and the reward of your sufferings. I am death, I am eternal rest, as well as terror. I am..." to finish his sentence turning into my younger self, From before this whole adventure. "You."

"And within my territory, you can do anything you want." Sprouting a tree from the black void. The ground is now covered in dirt and grass. " You can turn my servants into yours, And absorb my power from them. Although it's only possible within your territory, The power to create, destroy and change the world, Is an omnipotent power."

The sky that was nothing but black now turned a light blue. The dark void is now filled with color. It reminded me of someone. The dark void I got used to somehow along the way slowly filled with color and light. "Are you saying that you and I possess the same power?"

Taking the form Cha Hae-In. "Yes but you are missing someone from the equation. I've been waiting for the day we finally meet for a very long time now." Just as fast as the world filled with light plunged into darkness. Back to his black armor.

"I am the shadow monarch. The king of the dead who rules over the power of death, and the administrator of the deepest part of the darkness." Sound like a true edge lord.

"You said Someone else, Do you mean Jeong Ji-Soo? Why were we chosen?"

"That's how you all know her as. (Y/n) (L/n) is a very interesting girl. As to why I choose you two, well I'll show you. Our beginning and end and also, Both of your beginning."

In another world, Light and darkness existed in an age where everything else has yet to exist. The absolute being split the light and created the emissaries of God, and split darkness to create the 8 sovereigns. The sovereigns, who were born to destroy the world, and the emissaries, who were born to maintain the world, continuously killed each other's soldiers. Fatigued by the constant and unending war, the brightest fragment of the brilliant light asked the absolute being. 

"Oh, our absolute ruler. Why does thee not aid thy most faithful subjects fighting in thy honor?  Why does thee ignore the screams of the countless soldiers dying for thy honor? Please lend us the strength to extinguish our opponents. We shall cut their heads and offer them as a tribute to thy glory."

But the Absolute being did not reply back to the fragment. And at that moment, the fragment of brilliant light realized. To the absolute being, the fight battle between themselves and the sovereigns is nothing more than a form of entertainment, and the ruler does not wish for the war to end. Everyone worshipped the Absolute being. Everyone let out outcries of war for the Absolute being. everyone pledged their allegiance with their blood and lives, to the Absolute being.
