Aerin sat in one corner of her class. Her classmates were busy talking with each other, not giving any attention to her presence.
She was waiting for the next professor to come, she was going through the notes written from the previous class.
Her first day was going well so far. She couldn't wait until she could make music in her department's composing room.
Well , you could only use the composing room only during events, or during any projects . And, she just started her classes, so she had to wait.
“good morning class. How is your day so far? ” Mr.Kang, The Department Head walked in with a big smile
“yes professor, it's going pretty well! ” the students answered
“did you introduce yourselves to the new student here? ” The professor smiled at Aerin
Aerin gave an awkward forced smile, she felt awkward being in the centre of attention.
“Her Name is Aerin and I hope all of you get along. And, it's time for the project before your end semester exams” Mr.Kang informed
He looked around at the students, carefully thinking on who to choose.
“Aerin, what about you? ” Mr. Kang asked
“uhh? ” Aerin was confused
What is this about? I don't even know what's it about and how am I gonna do it?
“right, you're new. Our University is affiliated with few entertainment companies. So we send a sample every semester. Usually A composing student and a student vocalist is paired up. So they need to co-operate and give us samples which will be sent to the companies. It'll benefit you as there's a slight chance of the entertainment companies hiring you. I'd like you to give it a try and I want to see how much you're capable of”Mr.Kang said
“sure sir. I'll do it” Aerin replied, Grabbing the given opportunity
“please meet me at 2 in my office and I'll give you information regarding the project. Your partner will be there too. ” Mr. Kang said as he continued his class

“hey, Aerin, right?” a boy walked up to the girl
“yeah. I'm Aerin”
“nice to meet you Aerin! I'm Ren! ” the boy introduced himself
“nice to meet you Ren! ” Aerin gave a small smile
“do you wanna eat lunch together? ” Ren asked
“oh sure” Aerin replied with a Smile
...
“ so you're from Jeju? ” Ren spoke munching his burger
“yep. I came here to pursue my dream to compose music” Aerin replied as she sipped on her orange juice
