Donghyuck carried Aerin who was asleep with her head on the table to the couch, spreading the blanket over her. He look a seat on the floor beside the couch, taking her hand in his. He brushed his fingers over the initials on her wrists.
His heart hurted looking at all the scars on her wrists, he wished to have had met her soon, so that he could have taken away her pain. He gently kissed the scars on her wrist. He shut his eyes tight when he could feel the sharp pain.
It was the soulmate bond. He can heal and feel others' pain. After all, he's the King of the Eternal world and he needs to save his Queen.
He wasn't very sure if he could heal away her pain, but he was sure he can temporarily make it fade away; by giving her so much love, affection and attention. She belongs to him now, she's his responsibility.
He gave a kiss on her forehead, caressing her head, her pain gently fading away.

“morning! ” Donghyuck greeted smiling at Aerin who just woke up
The girl felt a weight off her shoulders, the pain was lighter now, she smiled at the boy, “ morning! I'm sorry to have dozen off here”
“feel free to visit here whenever you want to! My parents won't be here most of the time. They work abroad” Donghyuck said
“sure, thank you! I should get going. I got to get to my shift” Aerin said as she folded the blankets
“I've cooked some breakfast for you. Please have and go! I'll drop you! ” Donghyuck said pulling her to the dining room
Both of them had an oatmeal with some orange juice as Donghyuck interrupted, “ since it's a weekend, I was wondering if you'd be free in the evening, you know, we could hangout for a while”
“sure, I'll get permission from my boss and text you! ” Aerin replied as she put all the dishes in the dishwasher
“ready? ” Donghyuck asked as he started his motorcycle
They drove through the roads as Donghyuck stole glances at Aerin through the rear- mirror.
Ren was waiting outside the Café . Donghyuck looked at him confused.
“oh you're here early” Aerin smiled getting down from the vehicle
“oi come here let me remove your helmet” Donghyuck said as he looked at Aerin
Such a cutie.
“oh by the way, Ren works along with me here! ” Aerin said
“that's cool. Text me when you're done I'll pick you up” Donghyuck said as he left the place
The Café didn't have much customers as both friends were having a chit chat.
“looks like there's something going on between you two” Ren wiggled his eyebrows
“who and who? ” Aerin asked
“aye don't act all innocent. Who else? You and Donghyuck. He's even dropping and picking you up. There's no way something's not going on” Ren replied
“ nothing's going on to your imagination. We're just in the same project and hanging out sometimes” Aerin said
“sure sure ” Ren replied as he left the counter to serve the customers
Aerin looked at her soulmate tattoo, wondering if it was fate. She hoped to not get hurt in the end.

“I got a day off tomorrow and we can hangout this evening too! ” Aerin spoke to Donghyuck as both of them were getting back home
“do you wanna watch a movie and eat homemade dinner? ” Donghyuck offered
“sure, I'd love that! ” Aerin smiled as they walked inside the mansion
“hmm what should we cook? ” Donghyuck went through the recipe books
“I swear I don't know to cook anything” Aerin put her hands up
“let's just go with Lasagna, hm? That's the only good food I know to cook” Donghyuck suggested
“sure, that'll be cool . I'll just help you out” Aerin replied
The food was almost done and the only thing the girl helped out with was looking at how attractive Donghyuck can be when he's doing something serious.
“ this tastes so amazing!! You should open a lasagna store” Aerin said eating more of it
“that's a bit too much for my level but I'm glad you like it” Donghyuck chuckled patting Aerin's head. He figured out she's at ease now.
He liked how he can feel her feelings by just touching her or making a skin contact with her.
“let's get to the movie room. We can play your favorite movie” Donghyuck said
“really? I get to choose the movie?? ” Aerin seemed so chuff about it
She was browsing through different movies, “ I never had the opportunity to play my favorite film. I had to adjust with my cousins , and my fiancé? Every girl's dream husband is someone nice and caring, but he was so arrogant and bossy . He would choose his favorite dress when I'm shopping for me. I'm glad I get to enjoy these little things while I'm on my own”
Donghyuck smiled, “don't worry, you will have a good future. I'll make sure of it”
The movie started playing as both of them settled on the sofa, with blankets covered all over their legs. Donghyuck grabbed every opportunity to steal glances at Aerin. He loved the mole right under her plump lips, she looked really cute.
“are you even watching the movie? ” Aerin asked
“of course I am! ” Donghyuck shifted his attention to the screen
“you know, it's nice to hangout with you. My innerchild is so comfortable with you” Aerin spoke
Donghyuck gave a warm smile, “I'm glad, I'll always be a comfortable place for you. Remember, you can always reach out to me” to which Aerin smiled back nodding.
