“excuse me sir. I'm here to get Park Aerin with me regarding a project ” Donghyuck stood at the entrance of the class
“oh, sure. Aerin you may go” The Professor announced as the confused girl closed her books, putting them in her bag, excusing herself out.
“would you like a cheeseburger or fried chicken? ” Donghyuck asked scrolling through the menu on his phone as they entered the studio
“uh? We're bunking class? ” Aerin asked
“of course! What's fun in having all full attendance? You should live away your youth ” Donghyuck replied
Live away your youth. Am I really allowed to enjoy my youth? Do I deserve to? How am I supposed to live my youth when I'm suffering?
Aerin started to overthink, judging her life decisions.
“cheeseburger , hm? ” Donghyuck looked up to the zoned out girl
Donghyuck slightly tugged on her hand, a pain striking him as he jerked a little. His heart hurted, for no reason. He felt so down. The girl looked at him, zoning back.
“how much do I pay you? ” Aerin softly asked
“uh, for what? ”
“for the cheeseburger”
“it's okay? You don't have to pay me for it! ” Donghyuck spoke, placing an order
Aerin went quiet, I don't like owing people though... I feel like I'm a burden.
“ I'll work on few samples first. You can either work on the lyrics or vocalising ” Aerin said as she took a seat, testing out different beats

Donghyuck locked his phone as soon as a notification popped up, tapping Aerin's shoulders lightly.
The girl removed the headphones, as she looked at Donghyuck.
He was enjoying the slow happy rhythm he felt all of a sudden. It was subtle and comforting, he felt happy. Aerin looked at Donghyuck, waiting for him to say what he wanted to.
“oh right. The delivery is here, I'll go get it” Donghyuck informed, leaving the room
Aerin stopped whatever she was doing, arranging the desk so that both of them could eat.
The two sat on the desk, Donghyuck opening the bag, setting the food.
“you got so much! ” Aerin said
“it's not much, you can eat your meal slowly” Donghyuck replied, handing her burger
“lets put on some music” Aerin said as she clicked her mouse, a subtle music played, to which both of them quietly nodded their heads, enjoying the aura.
“how did you get into music? ” Donghyuck asked
Aerin thought for a second before replying, “ it's my cousin who got me into music. He'd always take me with him to his studio, and it was comforting for me. I only got comfort through music when I was in the studio, with no noise, just music”
Donghyuck gave a smile, “ it was the same for me too. I found comfort in music. When no one listened to me, I started to write my heart down as lyrics. I sang my heart out whenever I felt down, or even happy. It's like home”
“exactly. And no one would understand when we say music is our home unless they experience it” Aerin added to which Donghyuck agreed
Aerin couldn't complete her fries and coke, her face showed that she was uncomfortable.
Donghyuck sensed something was wrong, “are you okay? Do you need something?”
“no I'm good. It's just that I'm not able to finish it” she pointed to the leftover as she crouched down in her seat
Donghyuck patted her back slowly, “ it's alright. You can finish it later or take it home”
The girl nodded, as she packed the fries and saved it for later, both of them continued their work.
