** nge reference, take it or leave it. Also I'm adding other characters that I think are around their age into the story because yeah 😁👍

"Razor!! Good morning!!" Bennett smiles. "Hi!" Razor smiles. "Good morning, Razor! Was your nightly rest enjoyable? Mine certainly was!" I smile. Razor is left speechless, guess I have to translate. "What I mean is—" I'm cut off by some other students. "Ahh, the princess is at it again. Using her complex words and being super loud early in the morning.. when will you give us a break, Amy!" I turn around, shocked. "My name is not Amy! My name is Fischl Prin—" I argue. "Oh my god Amy! Grow up!! You've been like this since what? Grade 3?!" They argue back. I turn back around, embarrassed. I run inside, not waiting for Bennett, or Razor. "Haha! She's intimidated, you really got her..." I don't hear what they said next. I don't want to hear it either.

That's been happening for awhile though. The kids here find me "weird" for being like this. As if they don't have a weird side!! Gosh, these people are so annoying!!! Tears start to prick my eyes. Great, now I'm crying.. I wipe my eyes, and head to the bathroom.

☆ Timeskip: First break

We're forced outside, and I feel a bit better. Good thing I brought one of my mangas with me! I look around for a quiet spot. I scan the field(or playground, depending on what you call it) and decide on a place away from people, under trees.

A few minutes into reading, I sense something. A figure.. someone around my size.. behind me. Who is this? I turn my head around. Slowly. Maybe it's one of the bullies?

Instead, I'm greeted by the sight of a boy. I think? Short blue hair, asymmetrical bangs, brushed to the side. Long lashes, and amber eyes. And an almost unnoticeable earring, it's a yellow tassel. Oh! I know this guy! This is Xingqiu, he's in my class. He's a total bookworm, but we've never talked. Well, maybe not until today.

"Hello there! I couldn't help but notice that you're reading something. I couldn't help myself, but I took a quick glance. It piqued my interest, so I'd like to ask what you're reading!" He smiled politely. "Ah. Well, I'm reading Komi Can't Communicate." I reply. Not sure what else to say. "I've heard of that! It's that good, isn't it? Well then, I should go take a look." He smiles.

Suddenly, another boy, with a lighter shade of blue hair comes running toward him. "Xingqiu!! Did you forget? We were supposed to help Xinyan tune her guitar today. And you brought the manual!!" That's Chongyun. Also in our class. He's supposedly an exorcist who has never seen a ghost. Surprising, but his aunt is super intimidating. So no one messes with him.

"Oh, hey Fischl." Chongyun took notice of me. I wave. "Ahh, sorry Chongyun! I just wanted to go outside for a little while, before I had to go see you. It's just that Fischl's manga has me a little interested." Xingqiu smiles sheepishly. Chongyun sighs, "Alright. Let's go then. Bye, Fischl" Chongyun takes Xingqiu's wrist, and waves. Xingqiu waves goodbye as well.

I turn back to my book. Nakanaka isn't cringe... she's cool!!! Like me!!! (In case you haven't read the series yet, Nakanaka is another character with eighth grade syndrome)

The bell rings. We have to go back inside now. Oh well, I'll continue later.

{ End Scene. }
