SFEs new boy group Time\ess debut album gives fans mixed feelings.
Snowfox Entertainment had been in the eye of critics ever since the announcement of their new boy group in November. Many had suspected a drop in quality due to the suddenness of the announcement and the quantity of acts SFE had been debuting. Time\ess, the 7 member group, has now debuted on January 8th, and their debut album drew some controversy. The groups mini album, First Last Chance, only features three full songs, and an instrumental intro track. Fans of SFEs groups are torn. Critics and Stans alike have praised the album for refreshing sounds and visuals that stand out from debuts of competing rookie groups, deep meanings that connect with the youth, and outstanding vocal and rap performances. "It really leaves me wanting more," a Twitter user said in their review of the album. And that is exactly where the problem comes in. First Last Chance has a runtime of roughly 13 minutes in total. The track list is rather disappointing to many that saw potential in the group. The first track is an intro titled "Intro: One More Chance". It features a minute long soft rock instrumental version of the albums title track, in which the members take turns in speaking one to two sentences in english, setting the tone for the following songs and the albums overall vibe. Then follows in a smooth transition into the first song and title track, "Restart", which is a rather cheerful future bass song with a bright and hopeful message about getting another chance in something, possibly life itself. While the sound of the song is clearly positive, the lyrics and later, the music video, leave a mysterious and almost melancholic aftertaste. What follows is the track "Bang!", which features electro house sounds, puts a greater emphasis on the groups rappers, and has an upbeat, positive and exciting meaning to it. Following that hype track is the albums last song, "U", which once again has a more melancholic vibe, it's seemingly signature future bass sound keeping it from being able to be classified as a ballad just yet. It's seems to be a more personal song to the group that addresses the hardships under their former company, which still ties in with the albums theme for getting a second chance. While thematically and qualitatively outstanding, it's length leaves to be desired. Many fans had already suspected that SFE would not be able to put the same amount of work and dedication into Time\ess as they did with their other acts. Multiple SFE artists have been rumoured to have a comeback soon, and the company still seems to accept new trainees as recently as September of last year, which could explain the lacking quantity of content for their unexpected newcomer. But how do you feel about Time\ess debut? Will you support them in the future? How will the groups career play out and will they intervene with the companies other planned activities?

xiaorerunsoonplz why is everyone so pissed? the songs are great, so is the mv. it's a debut mini album, of course its not gonna have 10 songs on it 🙄 plus people on twitter are acting as if they dropped the album and never let the boys appear on camera again. like they had a two hour comeback show, they're gonna star on variety shows already, they're performing at music shows... there's plenty of content out there you know.
yujin999_ i wanna like these boys but i feel icky about that debut. like it was good and i'm not too bothered about the lack of tracks but i feel like the entire group is kinda a cash grab? the debut was so sudden but like they have so much time to refine the group and let their other groups come first yk. i wish only the best to them tho
jun9k00kf4n lmao fuck watch these guys become some black pink kinda shit where they drop one song every 2 years or smth while sfe pumps out more groups >erikakisser666 what would make you even think that? sfe has never neglected any of their artists and all of them get frequent comebacks and content?
kimnatasha98 i don't see a problem at all :) some groups debut with only one single so there's nothing wrong with timeless debut!
