Olive has a very important question to ask Georgie involving her wedding. Takes place after A Start Of A New Chapter and before Explaining the Past.
This is kind of short, but I didn't get any sleep last night to the dogs I'm dog sitting and I've dealing with something a lot lately and it has thrown me off a bit. Also you'll be seeing a lot more wedding one shots coming soon thanks to my awesome co writer maudie99o💖
I can't believe I'm getting married. I'm so excited Georgie. In the last three years I couldn't imagine marrying TJ, but I am Olive says, basically bouncing along as Georgie laughs. She remembers when Olive was thirteen and used to bounce around without a care in the world. She was glad after all this time she was doing the same thing
"I know I'm so happy for you, and your mom told me to tell you that too." Georgie says quietly as Olive smiles. She knew Georgie despised that gift, but Olive couldn't help but feel it was to help connect them to their pasts.
"I know that mama's proud of me. I just wish she could be there." Olive says moving closer to Georgie who sighs as she wished she was too, but the important thing is that Grace would be there in spirit. In fact she could literally see Grace walking beside them right now.
"She will be, just in a different way than usual." Georgie says quietly before brightening up. "So have you started planning the wedding? " Georgie asks as Olive nods.
"Yeah kind of TJ is having Cal be the best man since he has no family of his own, and I have the maid of honor in mind, we also know our wedding colors will be green, the color of growth, and red which I researched and was the color of memories." Olive told Georgie who nodded.
"Um Georgie do you want to go to the lake… at the park of course I would prefer to never go back to the meth heads lake." Olive rambles out after noticing Georgie's necklace flickering to life. She didn't want Georgie to accidentally fry something because she was still getting use to having all three gems which made her a lot more powerful despite the fact Georgie hated the idea. Georgie just calmed down and nodded.
"Yeah sure." Georgie says feeling the gems cool. Georgie loved the small lake Olive was talking about, and they both began to walk over to the calming water.
" Do you remember the time Mama brought us here. And that frog jumped out of nowhere?" Olive asks Georgie who just laughs. Grace had a way with animals and not a good way.
"Of course I remember it scared me so badly. I say between the monkey attacking us, this frog, and the swan incident that Grace wasn't very good with animals." Georgie says as Olive chuckles.
"Nothing like you, animals love you." Olive says as Georgie nods. She was even better now that she could understand animals. Olive than looks to Georgie and sighs. "Um Georgie can I ask you something…. about the wedding?" Olive says as Georgie just nods.
"Georgie aunt Mic always jokes about you being my aunt, but I always thought of you as a cool older sister, and TJ and I were talking and um. Would you like to be my maid of honor?" Olive asks as Georgie just smiles and slowly nods.
"Are you sure you don't want Michaela or Drea to do it?" Georgie asks as Olive nods. She was definitely sure. She loved Auntie Michaela and Drea, but Georgie had been there the most for her throughout the years.
"Of course I'm sure! You've been there for me since I was a teen. When I really needed someone like I said, you're like a big sister to me, plus between you and me neither Michaela or Drea are good at planning well… anything." Olive says as Georgie rolls her eyes that was definitely true.
"You don't have to tell me that. We're a team and guess who organizes and does most of the paperwork we get? Me." Georgie says as Olives laughs.
"So you'll be my maid of honor?" Olive asks as Georgie nods. She had to do twenty things at once when the curse was still alive. Helping Olive with this wedding would not be that hard even if a few PI cases came up.
Yes, of course I'd be honored." Georgie told Olive who squealed just like she did when she was younger and Georgie would agree to take her to get a milkshake.
"Now future bride what do you say we go and get a chocolate oreo milkshake." Georgie asks as Olive nods happily.
"Yeah sure, I want to talk about the wedding ideas anyway. You willing to listen?" Olive asks as Georgie nods.
"Always so what ya thinking bride to be." Georgie says playfully as Olive rolls her eyes fondly.
"Stop calling me that!" Olive says carefully not wanting to aggravate any hidden injuries Georgie hadn't told her about.
"Sorry Miss Morrison. " Georgie says as Olive rolls her eyes again.
"That's even worse! " Olive exclaims making both burst out in laughter just like old times this was going to be the best wedding ever
