When All Heck Breaks Loose

Never Alone Part 1

Family is always there when you need them right? When Jess' mother ends up being at the same party she is undercover for. Things end up going wry very quickly.Now it’s up to her team and her sisters to find her before it is too late.

“All eyes are on you Jess, be careful in there.” Her boss spoke even though Jess had easily done such undercover cases before with no trouble at all. Jessica just nods walking into the party, her new pup behind her as they walk.

“Don’t worry boss, this is not our first rodeo and won't be my last.” Knight reassured confidently her aloof manner seemingly coming through as she scanned the dance floor.

She could see Nick from where she was ready to back her up if things went awry .. She really hoped they wouldn’t though. She really didn’t feel like playing negotiator today and trying to fight in this dress would be nearly be impossible

“Jess, I've got eyes on our suspect at three o clock.” Her pit bull puppy barked and Jess slowly turned around to see what her pup was seeing.

“Good eyes, Hol,” Knight praises keeping her eyes on the suspect as she goes around to the bar. That's when an older woman comes up to her. 

"You have a beautiful pup," She said and Knight could feel herself become tense as she kept her eyes on the target.

"That's Holly, you can pet her if you'd like. She is very friendly.” Knight spoke glancing at Nick through the crowd as a tense Holly got petted.

“That is when she noticed something out of the corner of her eye and internally groaned as she turned her head away hoping her mother wouldn’t notice her after three decades of being apart.

But then something went totally awry. She saw more people shirking closer, seemingly trying to surround her. “Um guys we have a problem people are surrounding me and Nick seems to be having the same problem!” Jess says with quiet alarm as she glances around her again.

“Get out of there guys, I repeat abort,” She heard Parker say through the comms and nods motioning for Holly to follow her through the crowds. She just about made it to the back entrance before her mother stepped in front of her. 

“Where do you think you're going Jessica?" she says in the same old voice she used to use when Knight was six. Jessica just forces her feelings in the box in her mind before standing tall in front of her mother.

“Home,” she replied bluntly, starting to push her mother away from the entrance before feeling a gun to her head. Jess just rolls her eyes having been in worse hostage situations throughout her REACT days. She quickly turned and kicked her enemy in the stomach, grabbed his gun and shot him with no remorse. But then about eight or so more came into view and started to attack her. She fought all she could but she and Holly were outnumbered big time.

In her perithial she could see Nick fighting as well. If only they could somehow meet each other in the middle then at least it would be three against sixteen with a little better odds. But that idea quickly went south when she saw Nick crumple to the ground.

Knight slowly began to tire where was her team at? As she shot another gun in a guy's head she felt a blow to her head and immediately everything was blurry. She didn’t stop, no she couldn’t she had a family to go back home to.

she could see Holly vaguely as she was kicked across the floor. That gave her an extra bit of strength. But before anything else could be done she felt a cloth be placed around her mouth and soon everything was pitch black…
……..

“NCIS!” Parker calls out as he comes into the room noticing a ton of  bodies on the floor Knight seemed to have left to bleed out. McGee and their dogs passed by looking around and a question arose. Where was Knight, not only that, where was Nick. They lost comms shortly after the fighting started and then they were trapped in the car by a bunch of traffic. This definitely did not go  as planned.
