I get all my stuff and get into Yolanda's car. On my way out I am stopped by my mom. She goes in to hug me, but I pull away. "Where are you going?" She asks. "Elliana's house. We're having a sleepover." I lie. Little does she know this could be a permanent sleepover. "See ya." I say and run as fast as I can. I hop into the Tesla and we drive to Elliana's new house. "My mom caught me on the way out..." I start. Elliana looks at me worried. "What did she say?" "She asked me where I was going and I just said I was sleepover over at your house." I explain. Elliana comforts me. "I mean, you weren't lying." We laugh a little. Yolanda looks upset in the mirror. Probably at my mother because she fears Elliana may be in danger. I hope not. I guess my mom really wasn't the kind and caring person I thought she was... Anyways, we pull up to Elliana's new house 20 minutes later. Her sweet dog greets us at the door. She jumps into my arms and licks my face. "Cheating on me already?" Ellie jokes. "Ha ha." I say. "Let's go in my room and get unpacked." "OK." I say. "Where will I sleep tonight?" I ask. It is our first sleepover at Elliana's new house. She thinks for a minutes before saying, "We could sleep in my room, I have a king size bed." She suggests nervously. "Kk!" I say and start to unpack my stuff. "Here, you can put everything you need in here for now." Elliana opens her closet to reveal a dresser graffitied with pictures of us. "Guys, dinner is ready!" Yolanda calls from downstairs. "Coming!" Elliana shouts. "We should probably go eat."
