The opening shot showed a picture, most likely drawn by a child showing the Avengers. "Nothing is going to be the same now." A man said.
The heroes were confused by this
"I mean look at this, you got aliens, you got big green guys tearing down buildings,"
"When I was a kid we used to draw cowboys and Indians." he said to the man next to him while holding up the child drawing.
Damian: Well thats lame- he said bored
Barbara: Some of us weren't raised to be killers Damian- he simply said
"Actually, it's Native American, but whatever."
"Yeah but I tell you what, it ain't bad is it?" Referring to the picture. "No yeah..Kids got a future." The other man said warily.
Superman: Hope the boy is ok- he said worriedly
"Yeah well, we'll see I guess." The first man said while taking off his glasses. There was then a shot of the ruined Avengers tower that panned down to show the heavy construction going on in Grand Central Station where on of the Chitauri Leviathans that came through the portal.
Martian Man hunter: This around the time the chitauri attack on New York- he stated
Wonder Woman: That was a great battle *shiver* but a messy one at that. It took me two weeks to get all the Chitauri blood off of my hair- she said disgusted
Barbara/Cassandra/StarFire: We know the feeling- they said with a nod
The man from before was shown walking around the construction site checking up on everything only to stop when he saw something off screen.
"No stop!" He said to another man working on one of the Chitauri hover things with a saw. "You can't saw through that stuff." He said while taking a broken alien staff from the ground. "These alien bastards are tough, you got to use the stuff that they use." Before using the staff the start shucking the alien cores for the hover jetski thing.
Cat Woman:*raised eyebrow* Is it safe to let regular people touch Alien tech unsupervised?- she asked questioning who's bright idea it was
Flash: Yeah I mean seriously. Some random could simply steal this tech and no one would notice!- he stated
"Alright?" The leader said to the man, "Alright." the other man chuckled back at his boss.
"Oh look who showed up!" The leader said as another man came on screen with a coffee. "My alarm didn't go off!" He called in response.
Bruce: *sarcastic* haven't heard that excuse before- he said both jokingly and sarcastically
He then noticed how everyone was looking at him
Bruce: What?
Flash: Dude... you just made a joke- he said a little scared
Bruce: And?
Jason: *pulls his gun on Batman* WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE REAL BATMAN?!
Batman:....- he stays silent
Batman looked over to Superman and just said one word
Batman: Bear
Superman stood up straight
Superman: He's the real Batman don't worry guys!- he said quickly.
He didn't want the other to know that he had a teddy bear with his superman costume on in his old house
