I walk into my house and take my shoes off.
I take my phone out of my pocket and scroll through Instagram. I walk up the stairs with my eyes attached to my device.
"Hey, kid, you don't need to stare at your screen every second of the day." My dad yells with pizza in his mouth.
I roll my eyes and continue to look on my phone as I walk to my room.
I collapse on my bed and fall asleep.
~the next morning~
We all put on our skates and go onto the ice.
"Hey, where's Nick?" I ask.
"I think he's talking to Bombay about Winnie and cocoa Chad." Evan shrugs.
I hop onto the ice and we start skating.
Sam, being his usual self, jumps into the board.
"Oh. The other way. Never mind that cone. Guys, counterclock." Alex says to us as we skate around the cones.
"Pass it, Logan. Over here!" Nick shouts.
"Look out.... Don't do it." Sam says too late as Logan falls on top of the puck.
"Dude, you're on my puck." Maya tried to get her puck.
"Get off my...." Maya say."Get off." Maya tells Logan.
"It's tickles." Logan giggles.
"Stop giggling and give the puck back to Maya." I state.
"Dude, you're on my puck now." Lauren says.
Logan laughs a little louder.
"Go away!" Lauren tries to get her puck.
We eventually get Logan up off of the ice and we skate over to Maya and Evan.
"Look, it's Sofi." Maya tells us as Sofi storms over to us.
"Our plan worked." Evan chuckles.
"I can't believe it." Nick says as Evan skates over to Sofi.
"Yeah, I don't think it did work." I mumble and skate over to Logan.
"Guys look." Sam points to Evan and Sofi.
"Sofi looks angry." Sam says.
"Really? I couldn't tell." I say sarcastically.
