~At practice~

"I don't know. Did you always do that?" Nick asked Koob about something I didn't know.

"What are you guys talking about?" I question.

"Basically, Koob has the voice of an angle." Nick shrugs.

"Alright, get out there." Alex pushes us on the ice.

In the corner of my eye, I see Sofi leaving.

"What was that about?" I ask no one in particular.

"Apparently Sofi is representing Belgium for something, I don't know." Sam skates up to me and I nod.

"Hey Logan." I see him as he enters the ice rink.

"Hey." I skate towards him.

"So I was thinking, how about we go to a café or something on Monday?" Logan looks at me.

"Sure, here, let me help." I take his hand and lead him on the ice.

"You know, one day I will be able to skate by myself." He smiles.

"Sure you will, until then, you're sticking with my hand." We both laugh.

After about 30 minutes, we see Sofi's parents come to the Ice palace, soon followed by Sofi.

I wanted to see this drama that was about to occur so I walked up the stairs and sat next to Evan on this table.

"Sofi, we don't even know what to say." Her mom started.

"I can't believe you lied to us like this." Her dad said.

"You forged my signature, and you weren't even doing Model U.N. Who's gonna represent Belgium?" Her mom, Amara asked.

"It's gonna be okay. I will represent Belgium." Evan stood up.

"I don't think that's what they mean." I whisper and smack his arm.

"That's not really my point." Amara said.

"Yes, okay, I lied. But only because you forced me to." Sofi told.

"What are you talking about?" Her dad asked.

"You never give me any choice about anything. There's always only one way to do things with you guys. I hate being on the Ducks. They're not nice. They were so mean to Evan." Sofi complained. Although I am mad at her, I gotta give her respect. She stood up to her parents. That's gotta take real gut.

"I'm gonna be brutally honest. The don't bothers are losers. The ducks are winners." Sofi's mom said as Coach Alex walked up the stairs. I mean I guess she is kinda right. We are losers.

"I think I'd be a winner if I could be the best version of me. I can't do that on the Ducks." Sofi noted.

"Excuse me. I'm so sorry. I know you're in the middle of a family thing. I just... I have to say on behalf of the Don't bothers. We're not losers." Alex joins in.

"Yeah, I'm not a loser!" I shout.

"I didn't mean..." Sofi's mom tried to talk.

"It's okay. I mean, we haven't won any games yet. And we did get lost on the way from the locker room to the ice in one of them, but I don't know. Things are looking up, you know? I think we're gonna do really well in the Moms challenge." Alex shrugs.

"Yeah, right. You know Emily Scott from the Ducks? Her mom was in the Olympics." Sofi's mom said.

I had enough of this, I stood up and walked over to her.

"You know Adam Banks?" I asked her.

"Uh, yeah. Of course I do." She laughed.

"Well, that's my dad." I sarcastically smiled as her face went blank.

"Well, he's not a mom so he can't compete." She scoffed. That was true. He couldn't compete. I walked away and sat down next to Evan.

"Your dad is Adam Banks? When you said that a couple of days ago I thought you were lying." He whispers.

"Why does everyone think that?" I sigh.

"Anyway, The Olympics.... The thing with the circles? I mean, who can't win once every four years?" Alex says as we all look confused.

"How about if the Don't Bothers mom's win, I can join their team. And if the Ducks moms win, I'll drop the whole thing." Sofi suggests.

"And you'll stop fighting us on this?" Her dad asks.

"Yeah. Unless the Don't Bother moms win. Then I can stay with them." Sofi adds.

"Okay. Yeah. If the Don't Bother moms win, you can stay with them." Her mom laughs.

"Cool, cause we are gonna win. Emily Scott's mom was in the Olympics for hockey?" Alex makes sure.

"Yeah." Amara nods.
