——— CASSIDY HEART WAS NOT a forced to be reckoned with. She wasn't a mean girl but, like everyone, she had her moments and when she really wanted to, her words could hit you like a brick. As well as her fist. And if there was one thing you couldn't do to the girl, was break her heart. She was human of course, peoples words hurt sometimes and events happened which resulted in her crying for hours but in relationships and when they ended, she never truly cared enough. They'd break up, she'd shred a few tears and by the next day, she'd be the same old Cassie again. And in Cassidy's opinion, the friendships that would cause in a heart break, would never end in her wildest dreams. Cassidy never got her heart broken. Not until Nathan Scott came along.

————NATHAN SCOTT WAS the typical popular boy. He was the boy every guy wanted to be and every girl wanted to be with. Yet, the boy never cared. Of course, it was awesome to be fawned over but, it was never Nathan's thing to care about any relationship. Even if he was in one with Peyton Sawyer. Nathan never thought about his older brother. Let alone his older brothers best friend. But he couldn't help but glimpse at the girl whenever they passed each other in halls. Of course, she never looked his way. And a part of him was fine with it—and a part of him wasn't. He'd always find himself wondering why she would always hang out with Lucas. She could wrap the entire world around her pinky finger yet, she didn't. She already had half the school pining after her but, she never thought about using that to her advantage. So when Nathan Scott's tutor bails on him and sets him up with Cassidy to study, the boy finds himself adding his name to the list of the many wanting Cassidy Heart.
