"More like kinda fun! Look, you can see everything from up here."
You peered over the edge, shuttering when the cart began to sway from your movements. You hated Ferris Wheels. But, somehow Aiger managed to get you on one.
"I don't like it." You finally said, attention turning back to Aiger.
"Huh? Why not? I mean I know your scared of them. You have been since I've met you, just never gave a reason as to why."
Looking over the edge, you hummed. The question was a bit complicated, seeing as your father had been gone for around a year on a business trip. You missed him badly.
"My father used to repair some of these big rides. He checks that everything has been installed correctly, and works out the kinks."
Aiger rose a brow at your answer, peering over at you.
"I would sometimes overhear the stories he'd tell mom. There are always freakish accidents that happen on these rides. Almost everyone dies if an accident happens. So I just don't trust it."
He chuckled at your response, "Okay, I understand what your getting at, but those types accidents don't happen often. I can assure you, you'll be fine."
".. I'll take your word on that one."
A grin spread ear to ear across his face. It wasn't hard to get him smiling. Yet again, it wasn't hard to make him angry either. Sometimes, you wonder how you even became friends with him. Regardless, you enjoyed every moment that you could with him.
"What are you thinking about now?"
"Well, for a change, I'm actually thinking about you."
Both Aiger's eyebrows shot up, and he opened his mouth to speak, but you cut him off. You knew fully by admitting what you'd previously said, he would boast.
You didn't like it when he boasted.
"No, before you even say it, I was not thinking about your 'Devilish Looks' or your 'Beautiful Body'. I was thinking about how over emotional you are."
"Excuse me?"
"I said what I said. Don't make me repeat myself."
Anger frowned, watching you cross your arms over your chest. Sometimes, you really had him running circles. But however fast he ran, you where always faster.
"Why do you think I'm over emotional? I'm not."
"Bullshit. Your happy one minute, and the next your angry as hell. Your practically a ticking time bomb. Aiger, everything goes straight to your head."
"That's not true!" He tried to defend, voice raising.
"See? Your getting angry, which proves my point. It's clear you've never watched the Ninja Turtles."
"What's the Turtles gotta do with this?"
"A wise rat once said, 'Let anger run over you like rocks do on a river. Only then will you find inner piece' Or something like that."
Aiger breathed in a soft breath.
"So basically your telling me not to act on my feelings?"
"Kind of. I'm telling you to rely on Karma, if possible. Thank of it this way, only you know if what they're saying is true. Only the people who stick with you through it are friends. And for the people saying shit? The devil's asshole will come back on them one day."
You both climbed out of the ride as it came to a stop, minds a lot clearer too.
"That was a good word of advice. And look, you didn't die." Aiger commented, shoving his hands in his pockets.
"Thank you. And Yes, I suppose I haven't died yet."
"Look, there's Fubuki, should we regroup?"
You nodded. "Yeah, it ie around dinner time. We all said we'd meet up around this time."
The Two of you began to walk towards them, and you started humming a soft tune.
"Where were you guys? We searched the fair up and down trying to find you both!" Ranjiro said, running towards Aiger.
"We decided to go on the Ferris Wheel last minute. Sorry guys."
Fubuki shook his head, "That's okay. We weren't searching that long. How was the view?"
"The view is pretty good." You said, closing your eyes.
Anger looked over at you, smiling. "I'm glad you thought so."
"Dinner is on me. What does everyone want?" Suoh asked, navigating through the crowd.
Once everyone rejoined, you all walked around, throwing around suggestions for dinner.
"Pizza sounds good."
"Maybe Chinese and Boba?"
"I'd like cheese burgers!"
"How about subs?"
"Good idea!"
