Jia's POV

"Bilisan mo na, Ela. 'Wag ka nang magpaganda kasi maganda ka naman na." Rin said as she is pulling Ela out from their house.

"Tita Beth, hihiramin lang po namin 'tong anak niyo. Tapos hindi na po namin ibabalik." Mia, on the other hand, was smiling innocently at tita Beth who just shook her head slightly while smiling sweetly at us.

"Pwede rin naman, Mia. Nakakaumay rin tingnan ang pagmumukha niyan." malumanay na sagot ni tita na nagpatawa sa kanila.

I glanced at Ela who wasn't able to finish doing her hair. Her eyes widened upon hearing her mother's statement.

"Mama magkamukha po tayo." she said with a pout. Her mother just laughed and shooed us away dahil baka ma late na raw kami.
I think she has nothing to say anymore.

But that's what I thought.

"Sandali nga mga anak, bakit ang tahimik naman yata ng isa pang madaldal?" she asked and looked at me. I felt my eyes heated by just hearing what tita asked. Not because I was offended but because of the thought of the reason to why am I silent right now.

Tita ba't ka pa po nagtanong? I remembered him.

"May problema ka ba, Jia?"she asked softly.

I cleared my throat and tried to smile. "Wala po tita. Medyo hindi lang po maganda ang pakiramdam ko."

She nodded and smiled at me. Ace smiled at tita Beth and pulled me towards our vehicle. "Sige po. Aalis na po kami, tita." As soon as I entered the van I felt my lips quivered and I knew, I am about to cry. Again.

Nakakapagod namang umiyak. Natatabunan ng pagiging iyakin ko yung pagiging bubbly ko eh. Ayaw ko sa ganito. I want the old me back. I want to always smile happily as if I don't have any problems. But who am I kidding?

I am a mess right at this moment. He left me. I was left. Today is a special day. But, oh. Fuck this love.

Gusto kong isumpa ang pagmamahal dahil ganito pala 'to kasakit. Pero...

Bakit ba 'ko marupok?

I just wiped my tears and listened to my friends' bickering until we reached our destination.

"I want... Hmmm..."

"Make it fast, Rin. Hindi lang ikaw ang nagugutom." Rin glared at Ela who just gave her a triumphant smirk na ibig sabihin ay nakapuntos siya. That made me laugh a little.

Nasa counter sila at sila ang naatasang mamili ng kakainin namin pero abot pa hanggang dito ang bangayan nilang tatlo. They are with Mia.

Napatigil ang iba kong mga kaibigan sa sarili nilang pinag uusapan at napatingin sa akin.

"W-what?" I innocently asked.

Zea smiled and hugged my left arm. "You look really pretty when you smile, Jia. Keep it that way."

"Thanks, Z." I sighed. "But I'll try."
