Dream divination, called Oneiromancy, is a very ancient tradition of divination. Dreams are very personal, so there is no one meaning that applies to every single dream symbol. If you want to interpret your own dreams, always go with your intuition over what the books say.
Accident: Trusting others too much, something unplanned.
Airplane: A journey or the beginning of a project.
Altar: Self-sacrifice
Anchor: Stability, disillusionment, or something holding you back.
Apples: Desire, longevity, many descendants.
Arrow: Pleasure, festivity; writing a letter (sending a message) you might regret.
Axe: Overcoming obstacles
Baby: Joy, responsibility. If it's crying, frustrated plans. If it's laughing, fulfilled plans. If it's sleeping, a waiting period and need for patience.
Balloon: Frustration.
Basement/Cellar: Suppressed memories, the subconscious.
Battle: Internal conflict.
Bath: Vitality, long life.
Bee: Your hopes will be disappointed.
Beetles or roaches: Many worries.
Bells: Joy, fulfillment.
Birds: Transcendence, transmutation. Birds escaping indicates personal loss.
Birth: Transition into a new phase of life.
Books: A sign of prestige.
Bridge: Overcoming difficulties, change.
Broom: Purification, de-cluttering.
Bull: Stubbornness.
Candle: A wax candle is a sign of good fortune. If it's burning, consistency.
Castle: Ambition
Cat: Prosperity, independence, and feminine sexuality.
Cave: A refuge. Also the subconscious.
Circle: Totality, perfection, infinity.
Clock: You will not be prepared for opportunities. Now is the time to act.
Cornfield: Wealth, certainty.
Crystal: Union of matter and spirit, Philosopher's Stone.
Curtains: Concealment, adornment.
Darkness: Your enemies are plotting against you.
Dog: Loyalty, laziness, anger. If it barks, an attack from an enemy. If following you, good luck.
Door: If it's open, new opportunity.
Doves: Good fortune, friendship, success in love.
Dragon: Change of residence.
Drums: Family quarrels.
Eagle or hawk: Warning from Spirit. (If it's captured, success.)
