i just walked up the stairs
i couldn't be embarrassed even if i wanted to
i'm too tired
i placed a hand on my door handle, immediately pausing
and continued walking down the hallway

i sighed, laying under his covers
facing the opposite way
i felt the bed dip a little, then a pair of arms wrapped around my waist
and his head rested on the side of my neck
giving me immediate warmth
causing me to drift off to sleep

i woke up the next morning to the sun peeking gently through the curtains
i heard a faucet running, and i turned my head to see the source

then wiping it with a towel, immediately making eye contact with me

i quickly closed my eyes, pretending to me asleep
