Naina Pov

When I woke up in morning, I found sameer missing in our bed. It sort of worried me. I searched for him in room. Neither was he in walk in closet nor in the bathroom. He probably must be downstairs with others.

It was 9 am and I was officially late.

I was late! Yes I was late!

It was my first day after nikaah, It didn't feel right for a bride to woke up late.

I quickly showered and wrapped myself in sea-green saree that had tiny yellow flowers embroidered on it. My hair was damp,  so I set it free. I applied a thin stroke of eyeliner, mascara, and a soft pink lipstick.

If Sameer was downstairs, I wanted to look beautiful for him. I wanted to please my husband. I want him to compliment me again.

My sight fell on the delicate rose-gold necklace with a diamond stud that he'd  clasped in my neck. This means a lot to me.  I tucked a few hair strands behind my ears as I blushed deeply.

When I hurried downstairs, I heard voices coming from dinning table. Asma aunt, Preeti and Raghav were breakfasting and chatting.

Sameer was found missing again.

"Aao beta, Yaha baitho" Aunt gestured.

Pressing a soft smile I sat on a white leather chair next to my sister's.  Aunt dropped two toast on my plate. Served me scrambled eggs, handful of grapes and poured a glass of orange.

"Khala, Sameer kaha hai?? " I asked to the lady who sat across me at the white table covered in a golden cloth.

"Woh shoot pe gaya h" Raghav swallowed down his bite and was sitting next to his mother.

"Tumhara pati kafi busy insaan h. There's always time issues for him. One day he is here another he is somewhere else. "

Her sister popped few grapes in her mouth. " Nainaa, Tu ekdam ideal wife ke jaise behave kr rhi h.

This girl has no eatting manners seriously.

Aunt ginned "Haan toh Naina to hai hi ek ideal wife" And savored her juice.

I shieded off and concentated munching on my toast.

"Waise Mr Rehmaan, Tum kuch kr bhi lete ho ya aise hi khali baithke rotiya todte ho?? " Preeti  wiggled her defined brows as she smirked at the man in dark grey busniess suit.

"Ms. Preeti Mansoor, For u kind information main bata du I'm a CEO of "Rehmaan Enterprise" Raghav slammed his glass on the table. He scoffed. " Actually Mujhe bilkul bhi hairani nhi hui. Agar tum mere best friend ke bareme ni janti usko pehchanne se inkaar kr rhi thi to mujhe kaise pehchanogi"

"Ummmm.. I see.. Mr CEO huh?? " She broke into teasing giggles.  "Chalo achha h, Tum kaam to karte ho..  Mr. Rehmaan.  Nhi to mujhe to sachme laga tha ki tum bas ghar baithkr rotiya todte ho U know like a couch potato. "

He huffed, It was clear he didn't like my sister at all. In fact, He despised her.

"Again, Mujhe bilkul bhi hairani nhi hui ki tumne mera busniess suit nhi dikha kyuki dikha hota to pta chalta ki yeh ghar Maine ghar baithkr roti todke nhi banaya h,  A lazy couch potato U know"
