a certain female have been visiting the Madrigal residence and would always meet up with their prima Isabela.
the twins planned to get to know this girl and for the first time since the age of 5, the two finally called a truce and worked together on something they both wanted; to impress her and make her theirs
ringing the doorbell, you waited for isabela to open the gates but unexpectedly it was her primos, Carlos and Camilo
"oh- Hi! is Isa there?" you asked in a polite tone and a smile
this sent both of the boys' hearts beating as if running from a marathon
"unfortunately, Isa's not here, she's with uhm-" Camilo nudged his twin
"Her boyfriend, they just went out a while ago" Carlos said nonchalantly
you blinked and raised an eyebrow
"boyfriend? huh.. she didn't tell me that.." a sad tone wrapped around your voice
"to fill in her place, why not let us accompany you? Hermosa?" carlos suddenly gave you a rose as he stared at you with a smirk
camilo, who was obviously jealous pushed his twin aside to let you in
"why don't you just come in? we don't want to let a pretty lady waiting, do we?"
you chuckled at their actions and helped yourself in while giving 'thank you' to the both of them as you pat their head
'their hair are so fluffy' you thought and smile
going in to the living room, camilo, who left you and carlos a while ago went back with a tray of some snacks; a jar of juice with a wine glass, some sandwiches that was suppose to be his seconds but decided to give them to you instead
"have some snacks, Cariño, we don't want you to starve while waiting for our prima" he smiled sweetly as he placed the tray down
"while you eat, would you like some music to listen? do you like rock?--"
"carlos, she obviously doesn't listen to those-"
you chuckled as they both bickered
"actually I don't have any preference when it comes to music, I listen to what pleases my ears"
a light bulb popped on their heads as they scurried to somewhere
"do they even know I'm 18?" you whispered
"I believe Isa told me they're 15.. huh, they sure don't look like it" you chuckled and continued to eat as you admired their living room for the nth times
and so for an hour straight when the twins got back, they showed off their talents; singing and dancing as if their bones don't exist
Camilo asked you about the movie that they were in, title: Encanto
The company that made their movie really did a great job and so did the director and the one that made the songs they sang
And hearing the movie title your eyes gleamed since you have a special place for it in your hear; obviously, cause you can relate to every character
"Oh!! Yes!! I've watched it a thousand times" you giggled "I like your part camilo! Really! But your sister's part will always be my favourite"
They both let out a "what???!~~"
"Who, among the actors do you like? Or love?" Asked carlos with a crossed arm
"Well, I like--"
meanwhile when all those are happening Isabela broke out of the ropes and removed the tape that camilo harshly slapped on her mouth and marched out of her room to look for camilo and when she saw them in the living room she yelled
"Her" you smiled sweetly " I like her"
From an upset Isabela, when she saw you her mood suddenly changed
"Y/n! mi querida, what brings you here?" She asked in a calm tone
"querida?!" The twin looked at the couple with a shock look
"uh, yeah? what? what did you two think?" isabela asked and suddenly gasped
"you think she's just a close friend of mine and you both decided to impress her?" she laughed
the twin had an annoyed look on their faces and huffed
"sorry but this one's mine" she smirked as she pulled you by your waist and you did the same
"hey, amor, your tio bruno said that he reserved a table in that fancy restaurant you've always wanted to go
annddd we're supposed to be there in 5 minutes- your tio has a surprise for you" you smile at her
"what about your band practice?" she asked
"oh that? don't worry! they can practice without their vocalist! come on! we're gonna be late!"
Isa nodded and told you she'll be quick and while that was happening the two just stated at you both in shock
facing them, confusion obvious on your face you asked them "what? is there something wrong?"
they just trudged away with disbelief in their eyes
you shrugged and went to isabela's room to wait on her while she changed
meanwhile..
the twin are in their backyard, sitting in silence with a broken heart
"hey? you two okay?" mirabel asked
"she's with her"
"both.. girlfriend"
mirabel looked at them before it clicked
"oh! y/n? yeah! her and isabela have been together for 2 years--and counting-- now and today's their anniversary! I thought I should invite you two!"
the twins looked at each other
carlos looked like he didnt want to go but Camilo knows their mother would make him go anyway
sighing the two just nodded
"get ready! we'll be in the place in 5"
