His lips on someone else's

His hands wrapped around her perfectly curved and slim waist

His smile that he seemed to only ever flash at me
But that same smile holding more love than what he ever gave to me

The same look of love he had in his eyes when he gazed into mine
The same look of love that now feels fake as I see the way he looks at her

His joy filled laugh echoed through the hallways

A laugh that, I now realize, he never shared with me

The fond words they exchanged
The affectionate touches they gave each other

I laughed as I watched from afar

What a familiar feeling this was

I saw it coming.. yet I ignored all the signs

I saw it coming.. yet all I told myself about it were lies

I saw it coming.. and now here we are with another pain filled night that I'll somehow have to get through

God I fucking hate my luck with love.

"Siyeon.." a voice called out.

The blur in my eyes focused back to the present as I looked at who called out my name.

I was met with a face filled with shock and panic as his eyes locked with mine.

"I promise.. it's not what it looks like.."

His careful voice spoke, as he took slow and steady steps towards me.

I silently sighed and looked at the girl who was still seated down on the bench, looking at me with the same panicked expression.

"Look— I- I'm sorry o-okay? I'm really sorry, it won't happen again it won't-"

"It's okay"

My voice spoke as it cut-in his useless excuses.

"W-what?"

He asked, surprised at my quick forgiveness.

"No.. n-no it's not okay! H-how could this be okay? I'm with another girl! How is that okay?!"

The shock causing him to stutter at the current situation.

"You're right, it's not okay. But what's an empty promise supposed to do for something that can't be helped"

Guilt filled his eyes as he heard my answer.

The guilt that I wouldn't have read in his masked gaze if I just hadn't caught him.
