Chapter 10 (𝑆𝑢𝑟𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑒)

"Look there is something in your invitition envelope " izzy said she is getting ready after all three of us. And I was checking the invitation to see the exact timing and something fell from the invitation envelope,

"These are eye masks oh look at those are beautiful "magnus said and he is standing next to me holding the. Masks in his hand I really can't afford to get near him Tonight or something will happen by me which I will regret later no matter how breathtaking he looks alec dont loot at him I told myself that and ever since I saw him dressed I am avoiding his gaze whenever he try to start a conversation with me.

" yeah they are so beautiful "izzy said and there my princess sister she is looking beautiful as always magnus move his focus from masks to izzy and went towards her

" my dear........... You look...... Beauty of heaven Isabelle god...... Everyone at the party will be so jealous of me" magnus said looking at her completely lost in her but I can sense that it is not in a bad way or other way around. Izzy blushed so hard and max grinned after watching her blush.

We all four are ready to go we chose our masks and headed towards the dorms parking lot magnus and izzy sat back and me and max front. As my car entered the school gatee mine and magnus's mouth fell open after watching the beauty of campus I heard max saying something but I am too lost in watching the area it's so beautiful fountains, green grass lawn, huge widely spreaded trees and twinkling lights are everywhere lights on trees lights on sideways it's seems wonderland than a technical school. There are directions boards how to reach party venue on each turn of the way this campus offers a pleasant ambience and the vibe is calming a productive Izzy and max seems amused "alec I'm thinking about transfering my admission here,at imperial's school of fashion and art.... I'm so impressed by its campus's atmosphere already" Izzy said while looking out of the car window. I see her through the mirror she us holding magnus's arm and he is adjusting his coat. There is mini entry gate and there was a security guard he came near watching my car " is this your car boy or you are thief? " he asked I got annoyed and took my license from the box drawer and handed it to him he took it and entered my license number on his tab then his face was covered with shock. "You are a lightwood? " he said , I nodded he returned my license and opened the gate without saying another word.

I parked the car in parking area we all stepped out and ready to go in and we saw a mini board hanging at the entrance with some lines written on it.

Izzy chuckled, max looks amused magnus grinned and I well I am still trying to attract towards the hotball standing besides me. " it's time to wear masks alec give the envelopes " max said and I gave him two envelopes he gave each one of us our masks we wore it and went inside.

According to me masquerade ball is to have everything exude sophistication alongside a strong theatrical presentation. It's common for masquerade parties to use an art decor style with chandeliers, string curtains, there are some small flowers bouquet of pale pink peonies decorated on the wall candelabras, feathers, lanterns, drapes And all is there in this party. "It is so beautiful here " Izzy whispers max's eyes are wide open " you know what I am 16 but now I'm feeling like an adult " max said while roaming his wides around the hall there is a footman standing near a window with a tray full of champagne glasses I took two glasses one for Izzy and one for magnus "thank you big brother " Izzy said and smiled " thank you Alexander but I don't drink" magnus said and I'm shocked I mean what??? Man like him don't drink?? Max and Izzy almost shouted unison "WHAT?? " magnus startled and chuckled and said " what why are you all so surprised? " , I am just staring at him as I was afraid accidently I pulled him by his waist closer to me Izzy hand which was resting on his arm fell hanged he just look surprised by my sudden move and looked directly in my eyes " it's good that you don't drink hot ball like you should not be ignited by the fuel like Alcohol " I said looking into his eyes he gulped his lips are just an inch away from mine I couldn't help and said it, shiiiitttt what did I just do fuck.....he must be thinking something worst about me.before I could say anything more Izzy removed my hand from his waist and pulled him towards her she gave me death glare " he is my date today alec please keep your hands to yourself " Izzy said playfully " oh no Izzy look at his face, don't blame him your date is really a hot ball if I were alec I would have kiss him full on mouth " max said and I gulped full glass of champagne in single sip looking at magnus he is doing the same feeling like he is saying something to me.
