"what do you MEAN, by you no longer can find her!?"

"I went to her house, but instead her adopted sister said she wasn't home, we cant just show up at their front door all day,  we never know if she would be gone for a year or something."

"keep searching for her, you are NOT getting a single minute of break if you don't find more clues."

"where are you Anna..?"

Anna's pov:

I opened my eyes and sat up immediately,

A another nightmare..

I rubbed my head and stared at my surroundings.

I'm back in rays room...

It's been two days now.. My sister should be waiting for me,

I quickly wore my boots and ran out the door with my purse.

"hey wait!"

Liam shouted at the distance.

"be careful out there!" he added.

I smiled and left the building.

I successfully made it out the college without getting caught, I was walking to the  nearest bus stop to head to the train station.

I'm really hoping Kayla is okay after two days.

I sat down in the bench as I waited for the next bus, I took out my phone and realized something was off..

I looked at the recent apps I opened, it was chat, album and insta.

But I remember very much that last time before i sleep, I deleted all the apps that were recently opened.

I chuckled a bit, it must be ray since he's the only one who knows my password.

Such an overprotective one..

I went to chats and decided to start a conversation with Kayla.

Anna is online.

Anna: Kayla??

Kayla is online.

Kayla: Anna?

Anna: hi! How are you and the house doing?

Kayla: good!

Kayla: it's just that after you left two days ago, this masked man kept asking for you..

Kayla: I want you to come home soon..

..

Anna: I'm coming home today, don't worry Kayla,  is mom and dad back from their one year business trip?

Kayla: not yet.. They said they'll be coming back home next week though.

Anna: alright, if you feel uncomfortable, lock the door, lock/close the windows, turn on the stutters, and make sure the back door is locked too, along with the bathroom window.

Anna: honestly just lock all the windows and doors.. 💀

Kayla: alright big sister, make it home safe.

Anna: I will!
