After showing your savage saiyan nature with frieza vegeta is quite a bit turned on by this since well...saiyan women tend to look for not just strength but the ability to dominate. Normally you wouldn't be so brutal as to kill and obliterate an opponent, the same way you didn't kill piccolo despite killing krillie. But becoming a saiyan made you have different instincts which being a psychic, you normally can control, except when it came to going super saiyan. The giant ape form was one thing, but super saiyan was way harder to control and way easier to fall back to your self made saiyan pride. At this point it didn't matter that you weren't born a saiyan.
