In my internet presence, I have often been asked, "how can you, a female, be a feminist, if you are becoming a submissive to your husband, male"
To them I say, "I feel empowered in my submission and feminism is about empowering women; letting them and all others live life however they want."
I was never told to submit to him... it was my desire to submit to him, his authority and his love.
They say, "You're going by the mainstream societal norms"
I reply "No, first of all, societal balances have shifted and in my social set up, there is no mandate for wives to submit to husbands. And being spanked by your husband is definitely not mainstream."
