We can right wrongs,
fix mistakes,
turn negatives into positives,
but we can't turn back time.
It never stands still nor reverses,
it simply marches forward.
Too much and too little.
Never enough.
Easily wasted and forgotten,
vanishing into nothing.
Time will come when we wish
we made a different choice,
led a different life,
made a difference.
Been different.
