Friday.

(Caius' POV)

I will see her tonight.

I haven't seen her since the day she came here. I don't know how I was able to stay away from her this whole time. But I did. But there wasn't a moment, day or night when I wouldn't have thought about her even at one point. And just the thought of her being so close but so far away from me was making me go mad.

I should talk to her tonight... no I shouldn't.

"Argh! Why am I like this?" I groaned out loud.

I can't stop thinking about her beautiful long wavy honey blonde hair, skin like a finest marble, her eyes like the brightest golden streak of sun on the clear autumn sky. Her eyes and whole appearance full of mysteries.

No. Probably right at this moment she is thinking about how to get away from here and how she doesn't even want to see me.

But what if she wants to meet me?

"Argh! I need to stop this. I don't care. Why would I care about what some-"

"Master Caius, would-"

"WHAT?" I shouted and snapped my head towards the door.

Alec stood at the door, his eyes wide. His mouth opened and closed like a fish while trying to form a full sentence. "I- I'll just come back later." He quickly shut the door and hurried footsteps could be heard walking away from the door.
I walked on my balcony which had a view of the palace garden.

I need to stop this nonsense.

I walked into the throne room where my brothers already were.

"Good morning brother." Aro said when he saw that I walked in the room. I just nodded and walked beside them.
"Like you know tonight Heidi is going to bring our dinner once again. And Lady Juliana is going to be joining us."

"Does she know how we feed ourselves?" Marcus asked.

"I told Demetri to tell her about our ways of doing it."

"Is she going to eat with us?"

"Well it is up to her. But sooner or later she is going to need to eat. Have you spoken to her yet, Caius?"

"I haven't. Not yet."

"Why not?" Aro questioned. To be honest that is a good question.

"I just haven't." He nodded and started to go through a book.

"What if she doesn't want to drink from a human?" Marcus turned his head to look at Aro.

"Well. Either she is going to feed herself from a human or she is going to starve. We gave our rules and she needs to follow them. But don't you worry my brothers, she hopefully already knows that and that Carlisle and his ways of eating don't belong here."

After our meeting in the throne room I went back to my own room. I didn't feel like seeing anyone right now before the dinner.

I locked my door with a key and continued my painting that I started yesterday. It was a painting of the castle garden. Many flowers, green trees surrounding the garden and a small pond shimmering under the sun.
I have always liked to paint. It's calming.

I mixed some colors and continued painting. I did that for almost half an hour before I saw something moving in the garden. I stopped what I was doing for a while only to see that Demetri walked in the garden with someone. Juliana.
I haven't seen her since that day when she came here. I can feel the mate bond pulling me towards her once again so I quickly shut the curtains that are in front of the opening of the balcony and stopped painting.
