After a great day with the girl I love, we give eachother a kiss and go home

As i'm walking home, my heart races, thinking of her

I go in, lay on the bed... Can't wait to see her again

Soon, I remember something

<Wait... I've been so distracted from my feelings that I didn't even think how is it possible that Lapis has wings... Why does she have them? The only reasonable explanation is her gem, but if that's really the answer, why can't my gem do that?>

I walk to the mirror, looking at my gem

<Come oon, do something!>

Maybe I have to focus

*I close my eyes, immagining the form of my gem to focus on it, gathering all the mental strenght I can*

...

Nothing

I give up and decide to record the day, taking my time to talk about Lapis

Once i'm done, I put my recorder on the night table and get into the bed

<Wait, I forgot to record the gem stuff... I don't wanna stand up... But that's important...>

I turn to the other side of the bed, where the night table with the tape recorder is

*I point my hand straight to it, thinking of how cool it would be to take it from the distance*

Closing my eyes, I immagine the whole thing, as something falls on my head

P-"Ouch"

As I open my eyes, I see the tape recorder right in front of me

P-"W-WHAT?!"

Am I dreaming?!

*I pinch myself to check*

P-"I'M NOT!"

I start thinking about what just happened

P-"THE GEM!"

A huge smile appears on my face

<I just discovered my gem power... AWESOME!"

I decide to try again before recording it

<Let's see if I can use this to gain some time>

Looking for something to attract, I see my shoes, near the door

I try but...

Nothing...

<What?! Why isn't it working?!>

I try again, no luck

<Mmmh, maybe there are things that I can and can't attract>

I decide to try with the watch Sara gave me

I do the same things, close my eyes, imagine and...

Something falls on my nose

As I open my eyes, I see the watch on the bed, and I scream

P-"Yeah! I did it!"

I keep thinking about how my power works

<Why can I only lift certain things? Most importantly, which ones? Well, I better record this for now, can't wait to tell Lapis! Maybe she can help me understand how this works>

After recording everything, I check on my phone
