<Who knows what Peridot's up to... She said she wanted to hang out this week but she suddenly changed her mind, and she didn't even tell me why>

Looking at the clock, I realize it's almost 6PM

<Already? I gotta buy some picks for Pearl... I better go before the store closes. That's a shame... If Peridot came, I could have shown her the music shop. Maybe she knows how to play an instrument.>

I pick a pair of flared pants, the usual blue shirt and I get out

Peridot Pov

P-"Amethyst, we've been walking all day, can't we take a break?"

A-"Come on Peri, it's been 2 months since we last hung out, don't be a pain"

P-"Ugh, all right, but only if we go to the tech store"

A-"U're still nerdy huh?" *She smacks my head*

P-"Hey"

A-"Anyway, sure, after all, it's not just about me"

P-"Said the one who kept me in a mall for an hour to eat something... It's not like you need to eat anyway"

A-"Hey, eating is fun, you should try it"

P-"I did, and I find it boring"

A-"Duh, u ate a salad... Salad sucks!"

P-"Yeah, I can tell. Anyway, let's go, stores will close in 30 minutes"

A-"Yeah sure"

Lapis Pov

L-"Thank you, goodbye"

*I get out of the store, closing the door*

<I hope I got the right picks, she usually uses 45mm but I hope she'll like a softer one too... You can't play certain songs with a pick that hard>

Walking home, I stare at the shops

There's someone at the tech store... They seem familiar

<Peridot... So she couldn't hang out because of this? Maybe she's here to look for parts to build that project she told me about. I'm still wondering what it could be>

I wave my hand through the window, but she can't see me, as she's busy looking at stuff

Someone gets close to her

They're talking, but...

*Peridot kisses the girl on the cheek. She does the same and goes for the exit*

<P-PERIDOT?! WHAT?! WHO'S THAT GIRL?! AND WHY DID SHE KISS HER?!>

The girl gets to the door

I hide behind the wall

I feel... Sad and furious at the same time

<Peridot... That's not how love works...>

My eyes are wet

I run home

I won't use my wings, I wanna get all the anger out of my body

Something falls off my pocket...

...It doesn't matter now

*I enter the house and slam the door, furious*

I feel tears going down my cheeks

*I punch the wall with all the strenght that I have*

After saying goodbye to Amethyst and buying the pieces I needed, I go home

<I'm sorry for saying no Lapis, but sadly I can only hang out with Amethyst on the rare times that she's is not engaged with Garnet and Pearl. Still, that Ame-Clod could have asked earlier, so I wouldn't have had to refuse Lapis' invite, but she probably just forgot. She's always been like this>

I sit on the sofa to watch TV

P (Hey Lapis, would you like to hang out tomorrow? Sorry for today, this morning a friend I haven't seen in a long time said that she had a day off, so I told her I'd be there)

Last login is more than 3 hours ago, I thought she cheked her phone more often

I start shooting channel by channel until I find an interesting movie: Back to the Future

After a while I  check the phone again

<Lapis hasn't answered me yet. She didn't even read the message ... What is she doing?>

I put down the phone and keep watching the movie
