After the ceremony we ran out laughing, I was with Uriah. we climbed up the beams to go to the train tracks. I arrived at the top at the same time as Uriah.
"Ready?" He asked
"Hell ya" I replied and then we started running. I was in the with only dauntless borns.
I took off my coat at letting it go, then Uriah helped me out of the dress so I was in my black jeans and grey t-shirt and we could see my shoes.

"You got faster since last time we met," Uriah told me
"Well, I try" I replied with a smile
"I missed you, I would have continued meeting you but my parents found me sneaking out," he said while giving me a hug
"I missed you too"

I was silent until Uriah told me to get ready
"For what?" I said
"To jump," someone said from behind me
"Ok"
When the dauntless borns started to jump I jumped too, I was the fifth to jump, Uriah was behind me. we started walking towards the guy that was standing on a ledge.
"You were the fifth to jump off," the girl on the train from before said
"Ya she was, that's my troublemaker" I could see from the corner of my eyes that the guy on the ledge was listening.
"Ya I'm used to jumping off of things," I said while Uriah put his arm on my shoulder
"I met her on the top of a building doing flips and when I asked what she was doing there she said to get away from the grey, then a month after I went back the same day, the 16th, and when I scared her she punched me in the nose-" he was cut off by the girl
"You were the one who broke his nose! He said an older dauntless did for being annoying" she said looking impressed
"You at my new best friend my names Marlene"
"Briana," I said just before the guy on the ledge started to talk

"Alright listen up, I'm Eric, I'm one of your leaders. if you want to enter Dauntless this is the way in and if you don't have the guts to jump, then you don't belong in dauntless" he had short hair and the sides were shaved. he had two piercings on his eyebrows and earrings on each ear. he also had tattoos on his neck that looked like blocks all lined up.
"Is there water at the bottom or something?" An erudite boy asked
"I guess you'll find out, or not" everyone was silent so he added, "someone has to jump first who is it gonna be?"

"Me" Beatrice and I said at the same time. everyone looked at us weirdly
"It's a twin thing get used to it," said Beatrice
"Alright two stiffs, who goes first between you two"
"ill go," I said immediately and walked up to the edge and Eric got off. I got on and got ready to jump when Uriah said something loud enough for me and Eric to hear
"OH watch this"
I turned around, winked at Uriah and did a back flip to jump off and heard Uriah
"Told you"

I was falling for like 10 seconds when I landed on something but bounced back up.
"It's over already," I said to myself disappointed but I heard a lot of laughter. someone pulled on the net. I was met with a boy with brown eyes
"Did you get pushed?" he asked and I said
"No I jumped off" with that he smiled and helped me off
"What's your name, you can pick a new one if you"
"Bri- Blaze"
"First jumper blaze" he called out to the other Dauntless members "welcome to dauntless" he added to me

We heard a girlish scream at I said "that's probably my twin" and walked off and got clapped on the back and a few "welcome to dauntless"

When everyone jumped the guy that helped me off the net started to talk
"Dauntless borns go with Lauren, transfers stay with me. go" when dauntless borns were gone he started to talk again
"Most of the time I work in intelligent but during your training, I'll be your instructor. my names four"
"Four like the number?" A girl Beatrice was with before asked
"Exactly like the number," four said
"What happened one, two, and three were taken?" She asked and that caused a few to laugh but Beatrice and I didn't
"What's your name" four asked
"Christina," she said and four walked up to her and said
"Well, Christina, the first lesson you learn from me if you want to survive here, keep your mouth shut. do you understand me?"
"Yes" she whispered
"Good" was what he said and walked away from us "follow me" he called over his shoulder
